Cocos Hair has grown massively these past few years. We are so grateful.

If you’re new - welcome!! We want to introduce ourselves.

Cocos Hair is owned by Kim Dykstra, a Winnipeg curl expert with decades of experience.

When starting her career as a stylist, Kim noticed gaps in the industry. A lack of curly hair education and appreciation. As a curly herself, she knew the struggle.

Cocos opened in 2008 in St James and has been a local staple for many Winnipeg curlies. Kim is passionate about empowering and hiring women. Kim is also the formulator behind Canadian Curl Care ,the customer favourite product line used and sold at Cocos.

Presently, Cocos is home to 10 amazing stylists, all of which receive excellent textured hair education through collaboration, ex*****on, and thoughtful demonstration.

You deserve the best. That’s why we are here to offer our services. Our goal is to consistently meet and exceed expectations. We are loving this era and ALL the textures coming in the door.

A little about us: Our salon is located at 1870 Portage in Winnipeg. While we are an all texture salon, we are well known as experts in curly hair. We have a team of 11 women who are passionate about what they do and excited to support new stylists. We are green circle certified and are passionate about clean beauty, prioritizing a healthy and eco-friendly environment for our team.

This role is starting PART TIME with potential for growth. Availability on Saturdays is crucial.
