There is no feeling like having an audience experience your characters journey with you. You can feel them reacting to the feelings happening on stage.

This is something unique to theater.

As an audience member feeling the rest of the audience around you is also magical. When you gasp with everyone or have uncomfortable laughter it displays our humanity.

Theatre can change the world.

Shout out to all the behind the scenes folks who we cherish dearly. Without them there could be no show.

So I've been creating and deleting this post for about 2 weeks.

I found out I didn't get into my dream school.

I'm frustrated. Devastated. Broken. But I'll be okay.

Putting yourself out there can be really hard and I'm proud of myself for trying. This is by no means the end.

Sometimes we just have to get back up, dust ourselves off, and go again.

It's that time again.

I haven't had much time to celebrate the holidays as I've been preparing an audition for my dream school.

It's a huge audition package and i'm feeling anxious.
