Lately I’ve been thinking about choices.
Not the big, life-changing ones. The little everyday ones.
I choose how I start my morning. What I eat. What I drink. What I focus on. Who gets my time and my energy.
I’m realizing I even have more choice over my thoughts than I used to believe.
I can’t control everything that happens around me — obviously. But I can choose what I give my attention to, what I carry with me, and what I leave behind.
And maybe that’s what choosing yourself really looks like.
Not one big dramatic decision.
Just choosing yourself a little more, every day. 🤍
This one is going to be a long one.. sorry . Not sorry
Sometimes I pause and realize how lucky I am to do what I love, surrounded by such amazing people.
To my Latin Dance Winnipeg team—thank you for your dedication, trust, support, and friendship. Every rehearsal, performance, and challenge is better because of you.
And to our incredible community—thank you for your love, support, and for helping create a space where people connect, belong, and thrive.
Dance has given me so much more than movement—it has given me family, friendships, purpose, and countless beautiful memories.

This how AI sees me as a 13 year old girl
And here I am meeting myself from the future… made me a little sentimental
Looking at that scene, I imagine your 13-year-old self reading the letter and asking:
“Do we make it?”
And your future self smiling and answering:
“Yes. Not in the way you think. In a better way.”

Well it’s time for the weekend recap!
I am extremely happy and grateful for the past weekend! Bringing home 2 hold medals was insane, but the fact that both of my coaches truly believed that I could do it, gave me so much confidence and motivation.
So first time competing in Pro-Am salsa advanced level was a huge challenge for me, but I’m very happy I took on this challenge.
There’s lots of work ahead, it’s a great start, definitely not a finish line, ( if and .murphy won’t kick me out 😂😂)

you are an incredible coach so talented and patient and passionate 🙏🙏🙏murphy girl… so young so inspiring, so on point, so caring, even you busy with your own challenges, you always make an effort and your professional skills.. unbelievable!!!

No matter how a woman looks, people will always have something to say.
Too old. Too young. Too natural. Too done.
Too thin. Too curvy. Too much. Not enough.
So stop editing yourself to meet someone else’s idea of “acceptable.”
Stop shrinking to fit into boxes you never asked for.
If they’re going to talk anyway, let them talk about a woman who lives fully, ages proudly, and shows up exactly as she is.
