quickly found out that adults and children don’t mix in a hair salon. "Most children are frightened and intimidated by adult surroundings and most hairstylists were not trained or qualified to cut children's hair." But not at the HAIR DO ZOO
Kids go wild about the Hair Do Zoo... and at the same time get a perfect and trendy haircut by licensed and experienced hairstylists who care about kids and quality hair care. The specialty salon creates a comfortable atmosphere for children ages 13 and under by offering special children’s car chairs such as Batman, Spiderman, Racecar, Hummer and animal chairs. In addition, a friendly alligator gobbles up the wet towels while cartoons, fun mirrors, a candy counter and a pre-teen section help the kids to remain calm and happy. Many children have received their First Haircut certificate at the Hair Do Zoo. Our hairstylists are highly trained and qualified to work with children of all ages to make the haircutting experience fun for kids and relaxing for parents. Hair Do Zoo has consistently won “Best place for kid’s haircuts in Winnipeg" by Parent Magazine.

Today we took the plunge and gave him his first salon clipper cut as he was feeling really brave, up to this point doing scissor only haircuts to suit his sensory needs.
He even got his green hair to match his bingo dabber for his afternoon bingo with our temporary wash out color. 💚

We recommend our little ladies come every four months to help take the split ends and the tangles ✂️ Manage those locks from breakage
Leave-in conditioners and hair serums/oils are great for the frizz and tangles! a little goes a long way ⚜️
For any cases of lice in the schools and daycares you can use a tea tree shampoo! it works great for kids and adults 🌿
Pony tails and braids are a great easy to give your girls that extra confidence and finishing touch to their outfits. Also great for managing playtime, nap/sleep time, etc 🧝♀️👱♀️👧
