➡️ You will always receive an automatic confirmation text after booking. ➡️ You will receive a reminder text 4 hours before your appointment. ➡️ Our team members names are : Stacey, Kim, Lauren, Sage.

➡️ If you are speaking to someone or told your appointment is with anyone not listed above you do not have an appointment booked with us. If you are talking to someone outside of the methods listed, you do not have an appointment booked with us. If you have not received a confirmation text or reminder text, it’s best to reach out and confirm you have an appointment booked, sometimes there’s technical issues however it never hurts to ask!

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻: 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

I was deeply saddened to learn of the recent vandalism involving a Pride flag in Norwich Township.

While a flag can be replaced, the message behind an act like this cannot be ignored. It was an attempt to intimidate and exclude people for simply being themselves, and that message has no place in Oxford County.

Just days ago, communities across Oxford County came together to mark the beginning of Pride Month. As we raised Pride flags, we spoke about the importance of belonging — of being able to live openly, safely and authentically in your own community.

Incidents like this remind us why that conversation matters, particularly for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community who continue to experience acts of exclusion and discrimination.

The new Safe and Well Oxford Plan identifies "people and belonging" as one of six priority areas because a sense of belonging matters. It matters to individual well-being and to the strength of our communities. Acts of exclusion and intimidation do more than target individuals. They send a message that belonging is conditional, and that some people are less welcome than others.

I do not believe this incident reflects who we are as a community. Nor does it outweigh the actions of the many residents, families, neighbours, volunteers and community organizations who continue to choose kindness and inclusion every day.

That gives me hope.

The answer to acts of exclusion is not silence. It is the everyday courage to choose compassion over division and love over fear.

As we awake today with the local news from about the burning of a pride flag within our community, let’s us all remember.

Remember why pride month is so important.

Remember pride had to start as a protest before it was allowed to be a celebration.

Remember the civil marriage act was legalized in 2005. Only 21 years ago.

Remember in 2006, just one year later, an attempt was made to overturn the civil marriage act.

Remember to appreciate how far we have come , how hard we have fought, and remember love is love. Hate has no place in our Oxford county.

Whatever the occasion let’s make sure your hair is prepared, having your hair properly prepped ensures you leave with the best style possible.

➡️ Shampoo + condition your hair the night before and allow your hair to fully dry. Arriving with damp or wet hair will take a longer appointment and will result in your upstyle not lasting as long.

➡️Do not flat iron or curl your hair prior. 😉You may think flat ironing your hair prior will result in a smoother look…however the opposite can be true depending on your hair.

➡️It’s a common belief that ‘dirty hair holds best’ this is actually false 😖you want a good balance of not too clean but not too dirty.

➡️Make sure your inspiration photos have similar hair to your own. Often times photos you see online have hair extensions added to add more volume or texture, although we will do our very best… at the end of the day we are only human.
