Reminder that we offer Bioresonance Scans (in case you saw it before and filed it under "maybe someday.")
Maybe someday is now, or maybe it isn't. Either way, no rush.
It's a non-invasive wellness tool that gives you a surprisingly detailed look at what's going on inside your body. Comfortably, quietly, in about 45 minutes.
A lot of people book it when they're in a season of wanting to pay more attention to themselves.
If that's where you are right now, it might be worth a look. 🌿

For the person in your life who has been complaining about their back/neck/shoulder for three months and hasn't done anything about it yet:
👇 Tag them here.
We're not here to lecture anyone. We're just here to fix the problem so you both stop hearing about it.
Book at thecalmtc.ca — we have availability as soon as next week.
(They'll thank you. Probably.)

Hey, I’m Kristen. I’m a Registered Massage Therapist here at The Calm and I’ve been practicing for about 5 years.
I really love working with people who deal with everyday tension from work or stress and want to feel more at ease and move comfortably in their body again.
A few of the things I find most enjoyable to treat are tension headaches, neck and shoulder pain, low back pain, and any pain associated with repetitive work. I also enjoy creating a calm, quiet environment where you can take a break from the everyday hustle.
My pressure tends to be medium-to-firm, but I always adjust based on your comfort level. I take a slower, more intentional approach to my treatments so that you can relax and leave feeling less tense.
Outside of work, I love being outside and spending time with animals. My husband and I run a small dairy farm with Holstein cows. We also are looking forward to welcoming a new standard poodle puppy into our home.

Hi, I'm Sarah Eaton
I'm an RMT & Fascial Stretch Therapist here at The Calm.
I've been doing Fascial Stretch Therapy for 9 years and Massage Therapy for just over 2 years.
I really love working with people who are looking to relieve pain and tension, are healing from injuries, or looking for recovery options. Being a mom myself, I also enjoy working with infants and children.
I see a lot of people with low back and hip tension, shoulder and neck tension, chronic headaches, general relaxation
Generally, my pressure tends to be a little on the firmer side — though I always check in and adjust to what you are comfortable with. I also enjoy working with infants and children, which is much lighter, of course.
I tend to dig into areas of tension as I find them, and I love to answer questions about the treatment as I go along. If it's too much, let me know and we can switch it up so that you're comfortable!
Outside of work, I am a homebody who loves to hang out with my family and see what kind of chaos we can create. Though currently not much of a hobby person, I do enjoy getting outside for a good walk, hike or even just to soak up some sunshine.

MLD and lymphatic sculpting are not the same thing.
Swipe to understand the difference, and why it matters if your lymphatic system is already under stress.

Hi! I’m Mercedes and I am an RMT here at The Calm. I’ve been working as an RMT for the last 5 years.
I really love working with those who are looking to relax, whether they are dealing with tension from their job or exhaustion from parenting, I like to provide a quiet, relaxing environment where my clients can veg out.
I love to chat, but I leave it up to you, so we can have a totally silent treatment if you prefer!
My pressure tends to be light-to-medium, and I often focus on back and shoulder tension, headaches, and stress related tension. I also love fitting a full-body treatment if our time allows it.
Some facts:
#1: I have two cats, Juniper (a.k.a Junebug) and Cricket, who are as rambunctious as two toddlers.
#2: I love live music, and have seen almost 100 different bands/artists, I can’t even remember the name of some of them 🙈.

Heys, I’m Stacey and I’ve been a registered massage therapist at the calm for pretty close to 6 years now.
I love working with those who are both new and old to the world of massage therapy. Whether they’ve had on going treatment for years and are looking for a new provider or are looking to experience their first massage.
I really enjoy working with all different types of people from looking to relieve muscle tension due to postural , work or stress to looking for treatment to help with low back pain , headaches/migraines, neck and shoulder pain/tightness, and more.
My pressure style I would describe as medium but can lighten or even add a bit more depending on what works best, I check in often to know how to adjust for comfort.
I like to focus treatments on the main areas of pain and discomfort to get the most out of each session, but has been known to do a full body relaxation from time to time.
Beyond the world of massage I’m a real parent to 2 kids and a pet parent to 3 cats - Munson, Tweeter and Figsy - who has extra thumbs/toes and probably would have made a great massage therapist.
I’ve also been known to dabble in Final Fantasy 14.

Hello, I’m Karen!
With over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I began offering private services at The Calm just over a year ago—and it has been a great year!
My practice focuses on Foot and Lower Limb Care. With Advanced Certification for Nurses, I work with high-risk clients, including those with diabetes, neuropathy, and compromised circulation.
I treat problems such as ingrown toenails, corns, and callouses, while emphasizing thorough assessment, education, and prevention.
My goal is to reduce discomfort and support the long-term health of your foundation—your feet and legs—so you can continue doing the activities you enjoy.
I am also certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy and provide comprehensive treatment for swelling in the legs. Whether the cause is known—such as lymphedema, lipedema, circulatory issues, or related to surgery or injury —or remains unclear, I understand how challenging heavy, uncomfortable legs can be.
I take a holistic approach, considering your medical conditions and current treatments/medications. As needed, I collaborate with your health-care providers to ensure safe, coordinated care. Treatment includes evidence-based strategies such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage, compression therapy, and self-management techniques.
I genuinely love offering these services, as they blend clinical expertise with hands-on care and the reward of seeing meaningful improvements in my clients’ health.
A few fun facts about me: I have an identical twin sister, ice cream is my weakness, and faith, family, and friends are at the heart of my life.
I welcome you to book an appointment for any lower-limb concerns or simply for an assessment to ensure your legs are functioning at their healthiest.
