CURL TRANSFORMATION 😍✨

My client came in with super dry, dehydrated curls that just weren’t getting the love they deserved. She’s always worn her curls natural—but never had the right cut or colour to truly make them pop.

We added soft, sparse contrasting highlights to bring out dimension ✨
Took off some length to reshape and encourage bounce ✂️
And focused on deep hydration to bring these curls back to life 💧

The result?
Defined, bouncy, frizz-free curls that actually show off her natural texture 🔥

Hot tip from behind the chair today 🔥

Pre-cleansing matters.

Before any colour service, I always recommend starting with ALT Action from Matrix. This pre-cleanse helps remove buildup, debris, oils, and residue from styling products or other shampoos that may be sitting on the hair. All of that can create a barrier and stop colour from depositing evenly.

Skip this step and the hair might remind you why it’s important. 😅

Today I ran into some patchiness caused by hidden buildup, which meant going back through and foiling out those areas to fully saturate and perfect the colour. Extra work? Yes. Worth it for a flawless finish? Always.

Because at the end of the day my clients leave with even, shiny, beautiful colour — and this guest officially joined the Copper Club. 🧡✨
