My lock-down partner in crime aka “Oliver” Before January I would often get ready in the morning in a hurry to get out the door to head to head to work Monday to Friday. Often times this fella would sit at the door in anticipation of me taking him too, I felt awful if I was gone longer then a normal day shift and even worse when we had to pop in at home and quickly leave again for an extra curricular activity. Regardless of how long I would be gone he was always excited to see me when I got home. You know how they say dogs pick one human to be their master — I am Oliver’s human and he is definitely my dog! Since taking a temporary assignment I have been very fortunate to work from home. I can say it’s had its challenges - but there have been some great rewards. It’s been great to have a constant office companion, even though he barks or scratches at the door at the most in opportune times! He’s been and continues to be great company when the office walls are quiet. You see I went from a bustling office of 6 pod mates down to working from home talking to a computer screen every day. We’ve enjoyed many mid morning snacks and lunches too! I wonder at the end of all this if and when life returns to being gone long shifts what this great office mate will do during the day! . .

Turning dreams into reality... Dreaming and visioning a backyard oasis seeing the vision, and creating the plan to make it happen has been so rewarding!
Despite 2021 and the pandemic political madness continuing - it feels great to know everything is falling into place - loving the chance I took with the new position, the opportunity to work from home and being able to make it a pretty incredible space to enjoy for years to come! Can’t wait to see how 2021 finishes out....
