Skin journey 🧴

My skin growing up was as normal as any teenager going through puberty. A few breakouts here and there but seemed to clear up after highschool so I thought I was in the clear as far as acne goes. Fast forward to when covid hit, my skin completely changed. Between wearing a mask everyday with makeup underneath for work and not knowing much about skin my face/skin changed completely. I suffered through painful cystic acne, as well as a fair amount of blackheads and whiteheads. I had no idea what to do or how to help it. When I started the Esthetics course in 2022 I was praying I would find a solution. It was at the point where I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror and didn’t want to leave the house. If you have acne you understand 🥲 Between learning about different skin types and different products i’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, my skin is finally back to normal. This took a lot of patience, products and time. Without my instructors and my girls from Esthetics my skin would not look like this, a huge thanks to all of you! 💗 I finally feel comfortable in my skin, and I hope I get to help someone else who may be in the same shoes of me!
