I'm absolutely thrilled to share the stage with such esteemed colleagues on November 21, 2026 at the Stadtcasino Basel. Will be joining the Basel Proms for the first time this year and am just chuffed about it. Can't wait to sing with Beverley Worboys and Angela Brower again.

We’ve got another studio update! Emma, who joined the studio last year, was cast again in this year’s Panto, Beauty and the Beast. She’ll be playing the role of Ginette, in addition to a Fan Girl. Way to go, Emma!

Sharing another studio update! Afton Willis, new studio member, was recently cast as Cosette in ISB’s production of Les Miserables! She’s going to kill it! Go Afton!

The studio is back in session! It’s a new school year and a lot of wonderful things are happening! I want to take this opportunity to share some great news about studio member, Malou Cain Birkmose, who spent a busy summer attending shows and doing an intensive at NYC’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After the intensive, Malou was offered a $50,000 scholarship to be used towards her Bachelor’s degree at AMDA. She’s an incredibly hard worker whose talent, curiosity, and persistence will take her far. I’m proud to be part of her journey. Go Malou!

Turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks. I have two fabulous teachers at the moment as I endeavor to uplevel my own skills. One featured here is the effervescent recently of Hadestown fame and the other is the inimitable of bel canto technique fame. What a joy to keep learning!

Thanks to Jenn Cain Birkmose who arranged for our offspring (and also my students) to have this incredible opportunity to study with the great Allie Daniel (one of the original Fates in Hadestown). The girls learned so much and Allie was an absolute gem. They worked on “Chips are Down” from Hadestown and the girls made so much progress!
