Heal your body. Heal your mind. Somatic therapy and coaching for a whole being. Hi, I'm Meagan. IFS filled the gap.
Artist, Feldenkrais Practitioner, family and nature lover; passionate about helping people heal themselves. When I found the Feldenkrais Method my world shifted in all forms--the method opened up so much possibility in my life. After years of training and working, I shifted my sole focus from Feldenkrais to learning about Internal Family System (IFS) because I recognized that awareness and calming
What kind of benefit can you really get from drawing your feelings? Actually, quite a lot. It’s like a therapy session, but with a map.
This method of externalizing our inner world allows you to see what’s going on inside. By allowing emotions to be expressed however they want, in the safe container of drawing, inner space opens up. Relief is felt. Ease, peace, and calm can inter into the conversation. And ultimately the inner turmoil can be healed through presence, unburdening and new found clarity.
Sounds like something your interested in? I’ve got some spots opening up for one on one drawing in the new year. Don‘t let the opportunity to find your inner calm pass you by ✨
🍂The shift of the seasons is here. Despite the beauty of this time, it can be really difficult to managing the chaotic energy this time of year brings. And that’s because nature is asking us to get quiet, to reflect and contemplate, while the outside world or asking us to consume and celebrate and stay up late and keep going with the same pace as we have rest the year.
😵💫It’s like having one foot on the gas and one foot on the brake, and in nervous system terms, it’s like cycling through survival states. Our inner world feels isolated and depleted, instead of connected and calm.
So my question is, what is one thing you can do to nourish your inner world, in these coming weeks, as we move towards the darkest point of the year? How can you connect to that calm, little light inside, despite the chaos? ✨

Theres a lot of new faces around here so I though I would share a bit about me and why I’m here.
My name is Meagan, and I am a somatic practitioner—wait, what does that even mean? It basically big, fancy words for someone who helps you to heal whatever is ailing your mind and/or body. 10 years ago I felt like my own body was failing me, and I didn’t understand what was going on. I was living the life I always had dreamed of, but I had horrible back pain and didn’t feel energized. After years of doctors, medical tests, massages and chiropractors, with everyone trying to treat but no one understanding what, I finally decided I had enough of trying to get rid of my pain. There was a reason it was here, and it wasn’t going anywhere while I was trying to fight it. I didn’t want to take medications to feel ok. I wanted to live!
Eventually I left my corporate engineering job and embarked on a life changing journey of leaning how to heal. I learned that the body is holding what the mind cannot, and until the symptom can be met, sat with, and eventually listened to, it will persist. But often we cannot sit with what we don’t consciously know exists, so that’s where the mind-body therapy part comes in.
I help you sit with what wants to be there, but can’t. We first build safety in the system. And what’s awesome and incredible, is that what’s has been pushed away or was unable to be expressed, naturally unfolds. It a beautiful healing process. It’s not diving and „searching for the problem“—that will only result in more mistrust and instability. It walking together along the path of discovery, to be able to hear what your body is telling you. It’s making capacity to listen, to process, and to release. It’s coming home to yourself. It’s whole healing for a whole being ✨.

Have you ever wondered “what is my body trying to tell me?” Our body speaks to us in a multitude of ways, one of them being “symptoms” that, when ignored, can become chronic. But if we can really listen, the reasons become clear.
In these classes you will explore what your body is trying to tell you around your chronic body symptoms, and perhaps what your system is trying to protect. It’s a complex thing, the human body and mind, but we can simplify it greatly and even enjoy(!) the exploration through the lens of two modalities: Polyvagal Theory and Internal Family System Therapy.
👉IFS Drawing into Self will be taught on Monday evenings CET. In these classes we will not be “making art,” but rather understand what’s going on our subconscious that’s keeping you in this chronic loop. Its fun and it goes deep.
👉Nervous System Reclaim and Restore will be taught on Tuesday lunch times CET. You will learn about how your nervous system works on a daily basis, how it stores trauma, how to stop spiraling when it starts, and how to make daily changes to bring about greater regulation.
📅The 6 week series begin November 3rd/4th, with a free taster session on October 27th/28th.

Call me a writer, call me a painter, a mama, a gardner, a friend, a wife, I mean, even a dancer, but don’t call me poet. But a poem is what emerged after a beautiful four days snuggled in the vessel of the Polish woods. I felt compelled to share it with you, as a meaningful insight and inspiration into the beautiful inner knowing that can come from your own inner healing journey ✨
How can one capture
the beauty of the universe?
One can‘t. It’s carried within.
In the heart and soul.
In the bones, in the muscle,
in the tendons and cartilage.
In the flesh.
And, and.
I could watch a thousand sunrises and sunsets
and still could never capture
the beauty that I feel in my heart
when I see the light.
The light of the day,
the light of the stars,
the light of the world.
We all carry it within.
We cannot capture it.
We are it to live and breathe.
To be.
To become.
To be.
And to become again.
Again and again.

Registration for spring classes is now open!
I’m a bit late announcing this one, but I practice what I teach and didn’t spread myself too thin in getting this out. Anyway, it would be no fun to show up to a class with a under-resourced instructor 😅
All these classes are designed to help you get to know your system and understand what your body is trying to tell you. It brings together mind work with body practices to make it a truly embodied experience—and that’s why the work sticks. It’s healing on a totally different level. Swipe to read some recommendations 👏
Details are in the comments and of course on the website www.osoa.me/classes. Oh and this time they are all ONLINE 💻 Can‘t wait to see you there ✨
