Etone would go on to defend her medal four year later with Cameroon's second Gold medal. Her winning 15.39m jump in Beijing stood as the second best jump in history until 2019.”

Power Ladies’ Fact: Sarah Etonge 👸.

Referred to as the “Queen of the Mountain”, Sarah Liengu Etonge is a record 7 times winner of the Mount Cameroon Race of Hope. Finishing at 5:38:06, her most recent victory came in 2005.
