So many good things to say about lavender. Visually, a field of lavender in the spring in France is simply stunning. Then there is the captivating aroma of fresh lavender. Heavenly! And lavender is especially terrific for skin health and cleaning because it contains powerful antioxidants and antifungals that inhibit bacteria growth and reverse the harmful effects of pollutants on the skin. Actually, the word lavender comes from the Latin verb, “lavare”, which means to wash. Lavender’s anti-inflammatory elements also help tone and firm as it increases oxygen intake through the pores.

Our new ebony and ivory deep cleansing soap, part of our detox line of products, has a wonderful spa aroma of eucalyptus, cedar and cypress. It combines the potent antioxidant benefits of natural charcoal with the therapeutic mineral properties of white river clay to purify and soften the skin. It thoroughly cleans skin of toxins and excessive skin oil but doesn’t remove natural moisture. Truly wonderdful.

Honey makes skin smooth and hydrated and due to its anti-inflammatory qualities it reduces wrinkles and fine lines. It is also highly anti-bacterial so it cleans and protects skin from infection.
