I'm really grateful for what .edge.ministries has brought to our community's street art. Their volunteer work adds so much beauty and fun to our town, and it's seriously everywhere! You can spot it all around Jaco – in parks, fountains, and on light posts throughout our town. And have you noticed those animal eyes? They're heart-shaped! Every time I take a moment to enjoy this awesome street art, I feel like a kid again! Come to the tour, and let's spend some time paying attention to those little details that make our town so great!

We had the chance to see some amazing street art outside of Jaco in the capital of our country, San Jose. It's an incredible place to appreciate a wide range of different forms of street art. We want to extend our gratitude to our friends from for the amazing tour; we had a blast!

Striking and piercing, an amazing exercise of style with a surreal blend of elements, masterpiece "Pura Vida" is embedded in Jaco's everyday life, right at the center of town, infusing vivacity into our daily experiences. This piece makes me almost feel observed by the characters in the artwork. It infects me with an almost festive and expansive mood, featuring nature, water, and beautiful people. Did feel this way when they visited Jaco? Could this be described as embracing the 'pura vida lifestyle'? We can also see how nature is literally taking over the mural. How does this piece make YOU feel?

One of my favorite ways of experiencing this mural is by standing really close to it.

Then I like to move slowly away to see the plants transform into a jaguar 🐆
