Garage 24

That’s a wrap for Garage 24, well for ‘Charlotte the hair stylist’ full stop.

I have loved doing hairdressing for the last 22 years. The people I’ve met, The people I worked with and the friends I’ve made along the way but it is time for something new and I’m excited for what it will bring.

I appreciate that I have brought most of you along my study journey with me and I can’t thank you enough for being my very own set of cheerleader’s. You have no idea how much your support and faith in me pushed me on.

I am sad to leave Garage 24 behind and as hard work as it’s been at times and pushed my mental health to lengths it never knew it could reach (covid, work and study do not mix) I have had a blast, especially when I got a grip and managed to work at a good life/work balance. The laughs, the tears and the Prosecco it’s all been fab and I hope you’ve enjoyed the times we’ve shared together as much as I have.

So a big massive THANK YOU and a nice cold fizzy CHEERS 🥂

6 weeks today folks and that’s me done with Garage 24. Well, done with hairdressing full stop (aaaaarrrgggghhhhh never thought I’d say that!!)

Soooo…. I’ve been back to work this week and so far so good on the whole hand situation, I do realise it is only Wednesday but by this time the last time I tried I was in tears with the pain….. and I don’t mean to brag but since Sunday I have managed to lift the kettle with my hand 😄 something I couldn’t even do last Friday so the strength is return thick and fast. 💪🏻

💖I’m not going to contact the appointments I had to cancel. 5 weeks is a long time and honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if you sort your appointment else where and understand 100%

📖My diary is now open…heads up as well my last working day is Friday 1st July. ✈️🇬🇧

I can’t apologise enough for any inconvenience this as caused, believe me it’s been extremely frustrating on my side, I’m just grateful for you patience, support and understanding. I really do have the best clients 💖

Just wanna update you all a little on the whole broken hand situation.

I worked last week on clients that I already had booked in as a ‘tester’ week. Unfortunately my hand still wasn’t really ready and I ended up in a lot of pain and swelling where there shouldn’t be. I did notice that weaving highlights and cutting was difficult and painful 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m gonna take this week off to rest it up and try again from next week.

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused anyone. I feel pretty s**t about tbh

💇🏻‍♀️ I’m not taking any bookings for the time being.

Not sure if you’ve heard or seen…. But I’m currently feeling very sorry for myself while sporting a cast on my hand. Yup I was walking the poochio and yup I fell (again) and yup it resulted in a hospital visit (again) no stitches this time though (you gotta take a win when you can) however I do have a broken bone.

Hopefully it won’t be long until I have a plastic temporary cast on so I can work 🙄

I do now have a back log so I’m not going to book anymore appointments until I’m back and caught up on those I’ve had to cancel already.

As most of you know my diary was been accompanied from the UK by Miss Noonie, They both arrived safely.

If you gave me a date and time I have already transferred that appointment over. If you still need to make your 2022 appointment I’m back to work from 5th January, however I am around and doing admin over the next few days.

Hope you’ve had a fabulous Christmas break, filled with love,food, laughter and fizz. The Deyes family definitely understood that assignment 🥰

Our girl is home from school and our boy is on is half term break. Me and Craigy are both having the break off together so we can spoil the Deyeslings with attention 🥰

Aaah guys sorry I’m slow on replies. I’ve actually been quite poorly which has delayed our trip in the UK.

I’m feeling so much more human.... so I will be working my way through the messages from tomorrow morning. We land Tuesday evening 🤞🏻 and back to the grind Wednesday.
