DESIGN OF A BEACH HOLIDAY APARTMENT

Conversion of the existing one bedroom apartment to two bedroom apartment for holiday makers. Everything was done from the beginning -NEW LAYOUT- two bedrooms, big kitchen, bathroom, living room and verandah. All the furnishings, colouring, appliances, materials were chosen and installed, to make the apartment livable and comfortable for holiday makers.

“SINNERS” NIGHT CLUB was situated in the basement of a building in the Phinikoudes area of Larnaca.

The aim of the design was to create a new bar point and present to the customers a new interior look. This was achieved by using materials with various textures and colours and by controlling the intensity and colour of the lighting.

MUSEUM OF THE CYPRUS COMMANDOS BATTLES

Το Μουσείο του Παγκύπριου Συνδέσμου Εφέδρων Καταδρομέων έχει ανοίξει τις πύλες του στις 20 Ιουλίου 2010. Δημιουργήθηκε με πρωτοβουλία του Παγκύπριου Συνδέσμου Εφέδρων Καταδρομέων προς τιμή των Πεσόντων και Αγνοουμένων Καταδρομέων.
Αποστολή του Μουσείου είναι η συγκέντρωση, διαφύλαξη και η έκθεση των κειμηλίων των Καταδρομών, η μελέτη και η τεκμηρίωση της ιστορίας τους, η προβολή της ιδέας ανά τους αιώνες.
Το Μουσείο στεγάζεται σε νεοκλασικό κτήριο του 1936 κοντά στην εκκλησία της Παναγίας της Φανερωμένης, εντός των τειχών της Λευκωσίας.
Στο χώρο της εισόδου έχουν τοποθετηθεί οι εγχάρακτες Στήλες Ηρώων. Ακολούθως, κατά την κίνηση προβάλλονται στον επισκέπτη, προτού εισέλθει στον κύριο εκθεσιακό χώρο, διάφορες ειδικότητες των Καταδρομών, όπως ο αλεξιπτωτισμός, η αυτόνομη κατάδυση και η χιονοδρομία.
Ο εκθεσιακός χώρος του Μουσείου εξελίσσεται σε τέσσερις θεματικές ενότητες, που σκοπό έχουν να παρουσιάσουν :
μέσω της πρώτης ενότητας, τη σκληρή εκπαίδευση των Καταδρομέων, την ορκoμωσία, την απονομή του Πράσινου Μπερέ και των παρελάσεων.
Στη δεύτερη ενότητα την ιστορική διαδρομή, από την ίδρυση των Καταδρομών στην Κύπρο, το 1964, έως και σήμερα.
Ακολούθως, η τρίτη ενότητα αφοσιώνεται στην ιστορία και το έργο του Συνδέσμου Εφέδρων Καταδρομέων
και τέλος, η τέταρτη ενότητα είναι αφιερωμένη στους Πεσόντες και Αγνοούμενους Καταδρομείς.
Στους πιο πάνω χώρους παρατάσσονται εκθέματα οπλισμού, προβάλλονται στρατιωτικές ενδυμασίες, φωτογραφίες, χάρτες, προσωπικά αντικείμενα ηρώων και λάφυρα από τις μάχες του 1964, 1967 και 1974. Ο εξοπλισμός με σύγχρονα οπτικοακουστικά μέσα προσδίδουν σφρίγος και ευκρινή αποτύπωση στο χώρο.
Τη μουσειακή μελέτη, τη μελέτη του εσωτερικού χώρου, του φωτισμού και των γραφικών του μουσείου επιμελήθηκε το γραφείο P. PAPANTONIOU DESIGN CONSULTANTS LTD

The museum of the Cyprus Commandos Battles had its grand opening on the 20th of July 2010.
It is housed in a 1936 neoclassical building, near Phaneromeni church in the old town of Nicosia. The Museum is dedicated to the dead and missing Commandos.
At the entrance hall the “Columns of Heroes” are placed. The reservists commandos are involved with a variety of activities, diving, parachuting, skiing, etc, The visitor can visually experience these commando activities when he/she reaches the main exhibition area.
The main exhibition area is situated in two rooms and is divided into four thematic sections.
The first section of the museum is dedicated to the hard training, oath ceremonies and parades of the Commandos.
The second section chronologically covers the period from 1964 until today.
The third section refers to the history and achievements of the Association and the fourth section is dedicated to the fallen in battle and missing Commandos.
Loot from the battles of 1964 and 1974, guns, soldiers’ uniforms, photos, maps, personal objects of the Commandos can be viewed in all sections of the museum. The museum is equipped with audio-visual media, making it more lively and interesting.
