π²π― From Our Forest Apiaryβ¦
Hidden deep within the peaceful pine forests of Cyprus, our bees have been hard at work, collecting nectar from the island's wild summer blossoms.
Our second honey harvest is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited! Every jar is harvested with care, unheated, minimally filtered, and packed with the unique flavours of the forest.
Nature takes its timeβand so do our bees. π
Thank you to everyone who supports our small apiary and helps us protect these incredible pollinators. We can't wait to share this season's harvest with you.
π― Coming soonβ¦ our second harvest of the year!

π―π Exciting News from B'Almond Bee Co. ππ―
Our first honey harvest of the season is now complete, and our delicious local honey will soon be jarred and ready to enjoy! π―β¨
This year has brought an exceptionally busy swarming season. While this is wonderful news for increasing local bee populations and strengthening our environment, it has also resulted in a smaller honey harvest than anticipated.
As a token of our appreciation, our valued hive sponsors will be given first priority access to this season's honey before any remaining stock is released for public sale.
Please note that all B'Almond Bee Co. products, including honey and other bee products, will be available exclusively from The Almond reception.
Thank you for supporting local beekeepers, sustainable beekeeping practices, and the vital work of our precious pollinators. Together, we are helping bees thrive and securing a sweeter future for all. πππΌ

ππ A Promising Day in the Queen Yard ππ
Today we opened up our queen mating nucs to see how our young queens are progressing β and what a rewarding inspection it was!
These tiny colonies are home to the future mothers of our apiary. After successfully completing their mating flights, the queens return to begin the important task of laying the eggs that will become the next generation of honey bees.
There is always a sense of anticipation when opening a mating nuc. Will the queen have returned safely? Has she started laying? Is the colony developing as hoped?
We're delighted to report that several of our young queens are performing beautifully, with healthy brood patterns and dedicated workers already caring for the colony's future.
Moments like these remind us that every thriving hive begins with a single queen and a small team of hardworking bees. Queen rearing requires patience, careful management, and a little help from Mother Nature, but seeing these young queens succeed makes it all worthwhile.
At B'Almond Bee Co., we remain committed to raising strong, locally adapted queens that support healthy colonies, sustainable beekeeping, and pollination across Cyprus. πΈπ―

π Nature never stops workingβ¦ even in the smallest moments.
A bee collecting pollen beneath the golden blooms, doing what bees have done for millions of years β quietly supporting life, flowers, fruits, and our future. πΌπ―
Every flower visited, every grain of pollen carried, is part of something far bigger than we often realize.
This is why protecting bees means protecting nature itself. π

π
Beekeeping doesnβt begin at the apiary.
It begins long before the season starts.
In the workshop.
In the measurements.
In the smallest details.
One of the most important principles inside a hive is bee space.
π Approximately 6β9 mm
This is the natural gap bees leave between combs.
If the space is:
β’ Too small β bees seal it with propolis
β’ Too wide β bees fill it with wax comb
Nature always corrects it.
That is why every cut we make,
every joint we build,
must be precise to the millimetre.
What you see here is not just woodworkingβ¦
It is designing the perfect space for bees to live and work.
Because a healthy hive
always begins with the right structure.
This is the side of beekeeping most people never see.
This is real beekeeping.

ππ Little Hands, Big Love ππ
Today at BβAlmond Bee Co., our sweetest little helpers were hard at workβ¦
My two beautiful daughters painting our mini queen mating nucs. π¨β¨
Yellow isnβt just a color for usβ¦
Itβs the color of nature, of production, and of the magic our bees bring to life. πΌπ―
Their little touches are part of something much bigger:
learning to love nature, understanding the value of creating, and growing up with the bees. ππ
Maybe today it was just paintingβ¦
But tomorrow, new queens will be raised in these very boxes π
And weβll proudly sayβ¦
this journey started with little hands. β¨
