Hello Everyone… I would like to introduce myself. At this time in my career, I was Creative Director and my speciality was cutting and styling.
I am Tina Dibben and I would like to welcome you to my page “Invest in your hair, You wear it everyday!” I have been in this wonderful industry for 40 years and I love it… still!! I started out as an indentured apprentice under a World and European Hairdressing Champion, Marc Young, of MY International hairdressing salons in Poole, Dorset. Whilst still an apprentice I joined his team of Educators…Marc put me on the stage to demonstrate the level his apprentices were expected to reach… it was good experience and went on to serve me well in the future. Five years later I had qualified… 3 years as an apprentice and a further 2 years improver (or supervised) I travelled with Marc teaching his acclaimed ‘Opus’ cutting system, we were at the cutting edge (pardon the pun) of the industry… big shows at Wembley Stadium, photographs published in the Hairdressers Journal and appearances at the later Coiffeur show in London… just to name a few of the things I was involved in. I moved to New Zealand in the mid 80’s where I quickly got a reputation and was invited to join the prestigious New Zealand Wella Design Team… It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together… which I was a part of for the next 6 years… demonstrating and educating to my fellow hairdressers through Expo’s and hair shows. After this I sold my salon and joined Wella full time… if you are not willing to learn no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you… (Zig Ziglar)… it took a further 6 months to train as a perm and colour Technician.

Evening folks… just a couple of posts… this one for my blondies
… each one has had a full head of foils..
with different combinations… some with highlight and low lights… some with a base tint and highlights over the top…
…and Lara has a silver addition to her hair.. that was last Christmas!!

Well here we are in 2026 and as is tradition my New Year message is to….
Wish you all a joyous NY and a huge ‘THANK YOU’ to family , friends and clients alike for their past fun, laughter, tears, inspiration, wisdom and hairdos we have shared.

It's been a while since I posted!!
Charlotte's hair..I applied a full head colour of a rich deep copper..(Blimin' phone makes it look red!!) previously we had highlighted and toned...this time applied the toner to ends...to refresh and add depth..cut was rounded off layers that work so well with fabulous curls...
Such a fun hair do... Thanks for your patience Charlotte ..not a quick job!!❤️❤️

No colour... Natural curls ...
Bridget needs a hairstyle that suits her lifestyle...when she has finished her run..she needs a style that is wash and go ..but with a little bit of product can easily be transformed into something for special occasions..
