This client came for powder brows after removing her old brow tattoo with laser. Both previous procedures were done elsewhere in Cyprus.

When I say NO to lip blush (👀 and what you should do instead).

😬 Very dry/damaged lips.

If your lips are peeling, cracked, or dehydrated, the pigment won’t heal evenly. Hydration daily + gentle exfoliation before your appointment is a must.

🦠 Active cold sores (herpes)

I will never work on an active virus. If you’ve had it before, you’ll need to take antiviral medication before your appointment.

💉 Unstable lip filler

If the lip shape is still changing or uneven, adding pigment is like drawing on a moving canvas. I always recommend: lip blush first, then filler (with at least 1 month between treatments).

🙈 Unrealistic expectations

Naturally pale lips will never heal the same as discolored lips. We are all different - results will always vary.

Old brow tattoo that shifted in color and doesn’t fade anymore… what to do? 🤔

For many, the first instinct is to tattoo over it again. But layering pigment on top of old, badly done work doesn’t fix the problem ❌

I only do cover-ups when the old pigment has faded enough (around 70%). If it hasn’t - laser comes first. ⚡️

Even one session can soften the pigment, remove unwanted tones, and create a better base to work on.

Sometimes it’s not about doing more… it’s about doing things in the right order. 😇

Like here - one session was enough to lighten the old tattoo. After one month of healing, I could safely work on top and achieve a soft, natural result ✨
