The older I get, the less interested I am in perfection and the more interested I am in authenticity.
And honestly? I think that’s where the real beauty begins.

I had such high hopes for this one.
When I saw the notes in Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Nuit d’Oranger, I was already imagining a full bottle on my wishlist. Thankfully for my bank account, it turned out to be a like rather than a love.
To my nose, this is a soft, easy-to-wear daytime fragrance built around orange blossom and neroli. It’s fresh, delicate, uplifting and effortlessly pretty. The kind of scent you can reach for without thinking twice.
But while I enjoyed wearing it, I never got that feeling I’m always chasing — that little spark that makes me stop and think, “I need this in my collection.”
A lovely fragrance, just not a memorable one for me.

I’ve been shopping my own collection lately and honestly… I forgot just how beautiful the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk range is.
No filter. No special editing. Just soft, effortless makeup that makes me feel like the most polished version of myself.
There is something timeless about these tones. The rosy neutrals, the flattering warmth, the way everything works together without looking overdone.

Over the years, so many people have asked me for affordable alternatives and honestly… I’ve tried a lot. Some were disappointing, some were good, but these are two I genuinely own, wear and enjoy.
Sometimes I wear them alone and other times I layer them with other fragrances for extra depth and sweetness.
Out of the two, the better one for me is definitely the Fragrance World option. It captures more of that rich, silky, luxurious Oud Satin Mood feeling that I love so much.
Nothing truly replaces the original, but these definitely scratch the itch without the luxury price tag. ✨
