If you want to make a new passover recipe this year, then look out for a curd one. The dish turns out incredibly delicious, tender and light.
Ingredients:
- Fat grainy cottage cheese - 1 package (300 g);
- Eggs - 3 pcs;
- Heavy cream (you can replace it with fat sour cream) - 100 gr;
- Sugar - to taste (but about 1.5-2 tbsp);
- Butter - 2 tbsp;
- White chocolate - 1 bar (100 gr);
- Coconut chips - for sprinkles + 3 tbsp;
- Almond petals - for sprinkles + 3 tbsp;
- Vanilla sugar - to taste.
Method of preparation:
- Melt butter in a saucepan;
- Add the cottage cheese (first squeeze out the excess liquid);
- Pour cream (or sour cream);
- Mix yolks with sugar and vanilla;
- Gently add to the rest of the ingredients;
- Stir and beat with a blender until smooth;
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the first bubbles appear;
- Remove from the heat and add the coarsely grated chocolate (half a bar);
- Stir with a spoon (or spatula);
- Mix almond petals with coconut shavings and add to the curd mixture;
- Mix well;
- Forms for the Easter cake to cover with double gauze;
- Carefully place the cottage cheese dough;
- Cover with edges of gauze;
- Place under a burden (you can use jars or bottles of water);
- Send to the refrigerator for ten to twelve hours (if possible, best for twenty-four hours);
- Before serving, carefully remove the cakes from the mold, remove the gauze;
- Smear the ready Easter cakes with melted white chocolate and sprinkle with coconut shavings and almond flakes.
