Shiatsu Cyprus Shiatsu is a Japanese word meaning ‘finger pressure’ and uses the same principles to diagnose and treat as acupuncture.

Gentle stretches and pressure is applied using fingers, thumbs, palms and knees. The practice is based on four schools: anatomy and physiology, traditional Chinese medicine, the ‘Five Element’ theory and Zen Shiatsu.
