The process of writing my Reiki course manuals, for me, also means drawing them.
During my teacher training, I felt the need to find a way to represent something that cannot be seen from the outside: the inner work that takes place while we practice Reiki, both on ourselves and on others.
Becoming a teacher, to me, means offering my own skills, perspective, and knowledge in service of a teaching that is already whole and beautiful in itself.
It also means asking questions.
How can I contribute to the way we experience, practice, and learn Reiki today?
How can I make the invisible part of this practice more tangible, accessible, and alive?
These drawings are my way of exploring those questions — turning something subtle and unseen into something we can observe, feel, and connect with while we learn. ✨
This is just a small preview of the three Tanden in the body-mind system and they are part of the manuals you receive at my Reiki Teaching Programm.
Next First Reiki Degree Course will take place on 26th and 27th September, info and registration at [email protected]

Facing denial and false accusations. Let's talk about it.

Post-session feedback I’ll always remember 🤍
“How do you feel?”
“Simply reborn.”
“Your massage was amazing… I’m sorry I slept so deeply that I missed part of it.” 😴
“You have magic hands.” ✨
“I feel so light. I’ve been waiting for this feeling.”
“I could lie here for another three hours.” 🌿
Internal experiences are always so important for letting the person feel what needs to. And sometimes our system it's simply switching off 😉

What I had to heal in 7 years of practice to become a confident therapist ✨
Becoming a therapist wasn’t always easy. For years, I struggled with internal fears that had nothing to do with technique, but kept me from fully enjoying my work.
😩 Imposter syndrome — constantly questioning my skills, my experience, and whether my clients were truly benefiting from my work.
💵 Fear of charging enough — I undervalued myself and kept my prices low because I didn’t feel “professional enough” or worthy of charging more. Until I realised how much I had studied, how much I had grown, and the positive changes I was helping people create.
🤼 Comparison — looking at other therapists and feeling like they had “made it” while I hadn’t. I learned that comparison doesn’t make me better. Recognising my own unique qualities, knowledge, and approach does.
😔 Fear of not being good enough — a belief I learned early in life, through criticism and constantly feeling that others could do better. I had to unlearn that story.
And now I know: I am good enough. I know what I’m doing. I trust my abilities. And I’m damn proud of the therapist I’ve become. 💕
Healing yourself is part of becoming who you’re meant to be. ✨

What I love about complementary medicine is that we don’t simply try to soothe or suppress pain. We welcome it and guide the person to understand and navigate its qualities and movement.
Sometimes, this can also help us identify possible root causes behind other symptoms and work from there.
And importantly, these methods can be valuable even when we’re healthy — teaching the body to regulate, adapt, and build resilience before something happens.
So when challenges do arise, the system is better prepared to recover.

Enkaku Chiryo is one of the most controversial Reiki practices, and perhaps one of the ones that raises the most questions and curiosity.
Technically, it allows a practitioner to work with a patient from anywhere when an in-person session isn’t possible. From a therapeutic perspective, I believe it can be just as effective as an in-person treatment.
However, it cannot fully replace being physically present. Therapeutic touch, human connection, and the continuity of sharing the experience in the same space are important elements of the healing process. Distance communication can also feel less natural, and being connected through a device during the session can sometimes be distracting.
Personally, I prefer in-person therapy because it offers a more fluid and complete experience, with fewer interruptions or technical issues.
That said, I still believe Enkaku Chiryo can be extremely helpful for personal well-being. Over time, however, I’ve found myself using this modality less, as I’ve come to feel that physical presence is fundamental to the way I practice.
And you? How often do you use Enkaku Chiryo in your practice?

Thank you so much for being part of yesterday’s open Reiki practice. 🤍🙏
We had some important conversations. Practicing Reiki together can bring meaningful topics to the surface, creating space for awareness, reflection, and dialogue.
I'm already looking forward for the next one on 22nd September 📅
