Impressions from a posture analysis workshop Aneta Figurska and I taught at Aneta's studio .openmind in September this year.

Posture analysis can be tricky because body parts have to be read in relation to another. A leg might look like it's externally rotated at the hip, but if the pelvis is rotated as well, the leg might actually be in a neutral position at the hip joint or even internally rotated. Conversely, the leg that appears neutral might actually be rotated.

Hopefully, after taking part in the workshop, reading the bodies of clients became a little easier for the participants.

Still teaching online classes from time to time. In this set-up I see the participants on a large screen in front of me. It's not ideal though. As soon as people get down on the mat I tend to see a lot of ceilings and walls.

First Zoga class in Germany!

In 3 weeks I'll be teaching Wojtek Cackowski's Zoga in Health Club Elixia in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, the first edition of Zoga in Germany!

Just got certified to teach Wojtek Cackowski's ZOGA Movement! Both Anatomy Trains Structural Bodywork (the method I work with as a massage therapist) and Zoga aim to enhance posture and mobility by addressing the fascial system. Structural Bodywork does this manually, whereas Zoga utilizes movement. Zoga can me taught as a group class, but also in a 1-on-1 setting, the latter of course being more precise.
