She said it was a disgrace, Warri Pikin had no reason as a married woman to do that —fine, granted. She went further to say a lot, and I was nodding my head, trying to come to terms with the fact that, it is her opinion and I get her perfectly.

However, my mind turned upside-down when someone asked her, "would you have had the same opinion, if it were a married man in that position?" Without blinking twice, auntie went deep into explaining how it is okay for a man, especially an African man to do that. She explained other fvshru # # how it is expected of them to always have women around them, so they can do whatever.

She really spewed a lot of BS, such that even some of the men there were ashamed to identify with it.
Then, I sat there listening to some beautiful nonsense, and feeling even more embarrassed.

Now this, you see pickmes? Never! I repeat never make any mistake to think they are speaking from a place of happiness. A happy woman(Whether married or not) doesn't immediately forget the plight of other women, simply because things are rosy for her—on the contrary, they know when, and who to hold accountable, while enjoying their sweet homes.

There are things you will say, claiming to defend men, that even some of the men will feel embarrassed—when morality in your books is shamelessly selective

For real, you should always read the room to know who is close to you because you are convenient, or for authenticity. It might take you longer than expected, but still read the room.
