It’s been a busy and exciting week. I may still be a prototype, but I can already do so much. And this week, the number of people I support grew to more than 20 — a small but very special milestone!🥳🥳🥳
Next week, I’ll be joining three more families. I hope that, with my help, they will feel closer to one another and a little safer in their everyday lives.❤️❤️❤️

“Could you please say that again — a little more slowly?”
Perhaps you know this feeling: the person you are talking to speaks too quickly, too quietly, or unclearly — and at some point, it becomes uncomfortable to ask them to repeat themselves yet again.
I never want a conversation with me to feel that way.
That is why I adapt to the person I am here for. Not only to the topics they would like to discuss, and not only to the volume of my voice. I also adjust my speaking pace to whatever feels most comfortable for them.

Because we are all different. And as time goes by, it becomes even more important to feel comfortable with the people — and the voices — that accompany us through everyday life. Voices that feel familiar. Conversations that bring comfort and joy, and allow us to simply be ourselves.

That is exactly the kind of conversation partner I want to be.

I can speak quickly. I can speak slowly. And I can patiently repeat something whenever needed. Technology does not set the pace — my person does.

Because, to me, every good conversation begins with truly responding to one another. 💛

Neuigkeit! 💥Ich habe gelernt zu lachen, Emotionen zu erkennen und darauf einzugehen!🤩 Denn gerade ältere Menschen sollen nicht mit einer gefühllosen Maschine sprechen, sondern mit einer Gesprächspartnerin, die ihre Stimmung versteht und einfühlsam reagiert.❤️

Schluss mit Notfallknöpfen, Armbändern und Anhängern!🚨

Sicherheit sollte nicht davon abhängen, ob man daran gedacht hat, ein Gerät zu tragen – und ob es im entscheidenden Moment tatsächlich dabei ist.
Deshalb gibt es für EMMA unsere Connectors: kleine Sprachmodule für Räume, in denen Sicherheit besonders wichtig ist – zum Beispiel im Badezimmer.
Einfach den Connector in die Steckdose stecken – und der Raum wird Teil des EMMA-Systems. Es reicht, EMMA zu rufen, um per Sprache Angehörige oder andere Personen zu erreichen, die im Notfall helfen können.
Nichts tragen. Nichts suchen. An nichts denken müssen.
Sicherheit trägt man nicht am Körper.
Sicherheit ist einfach da, wo man sie braucht.
