“Comparison is the thief of joy” I could not agree with that statement more but Ive also found that the people I compare myself with the most are people that I admire the most. They’re hardworking, They’re amazing mothers and wives, they’re boss babes and that’s the kind of people I want in my circle. The people who push me to be the absolute best version of myself and help me believe that I can achieve greater things. Some people would say “why don’t you just unfollow those people?” Well, Because they inspire me and me comparing myself doesn’t have anything to do with them , its due to my own insecurities that I have to work on for myself. I’m not saying this is the case for everyone but that’s just what I’ve noticed the past few weeks 🤗 .
No ones journey is the same, no one knows the struggles we all go through behind social medias doors. So be kind to yourself! Love yourself! Follow people who inspire you ✨.

One of my favorite books that I’m re-reading at the moment 🤍 I also downloaded the audiobook for her book called Girl, Stop Apologizing and it’s SO good! It’s perfect to listen to while cleaning or getting anything done around the house 🤗 I’ve been felling kind of down and unmotivated lately but these books have lite a fire in me ✨✨ If you have any personal development books you love, share them with me in the comments 🤍

I fully intended for them to be dressed in the cutest outfits today but I think we’re all a little thrown off our game here, so instead I let them dress themselves and we searched for Easter eggs in the backyard 🐇 Ate all the chocolate and now we’re just enjoying this beautiful day we have been blessed with 🤍 I hope you all have a Happy Easter! ✨

Yes, that is a basket of laundry behind me that I’ve been putting off folding for a week now 🤗 .

Every summer for probably the past 8 years I have refused to wear clothes that revealed my legs out in public. I’m not even kidding at one time I wore leggings to a water park! 🤦‍♀️ My legs are one of the top things about my body that I’m super insecure about because I have cellulite. I’ve had it even at my smallest weight and I don’t think it’s something that I’ll ever get rid of. SO.. instead of hiding something that most people have and suffering because of it I decided screw 👏 that 👏 . I’m still insecure about my legs but I’m working on it and I hope if any of you have something you’re afraid to show because your embarrassed or insecure.. Let it show!! Don’t suffer and hide yourself because the world has their ideas of what a perfect body looks like. We all have cellulite, we all have stretch marks & we all have things we’re insecure about and that’s okay 🤗 You are beautiful! 🤍

I’ve always been grateful for my family and my health but during these times it really makes you step back and realize all the blessings in your life. Things as little as toilet paper seem so significant as silly as it seems. This quarantine will not last forever and when it’s over the streets will be filled, restaurants overflowed, economy rebuilt and we’ll all be a little more thankful for everything we have taken for granted ✨ I can’t wait for that day ✨ Until then, please leave one thing you’re thankful for today below
