Ilakya Penkal Fashion Show 🎭

I had the opportunity to participate in the Tamil street festival in Dortmund in September 🥰.
We had our first fashion show, which focused on strong female characters in Tamil literature, to show that feminism was already being talked about over centuries.

This is my second model that represented 'Avvaiyar'.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Tamil street festival in Dortmund in September 🥰.
We had our first fashion show, which focused on strong female characters in Tamil literature, to show that feminism was already being talked about over centuries. I had the honour of being there as a make-up artist and as a model myself. The day was quite stressful for me as I had to get three models ready including me 😣. But it was worth it because it was a success and we were able to convey our message to the audience that women are more than just a help in the kitchen✊🏾.
