Set inside a working car shop and surrounded by Porsches, polished metal and machinery, we created an insane glow that aligned with the world of the collection.

The skin was fresh, luminous and light-catching—glossy, but never greasy or overly perfected.

We layered The Face Nectar, The Barrier Cream and The Sun Shield to flood the skin with hydration, support the skin barrier and create the healthiest, most awakened finish while keeping each model’s natural texture visible.

And then came the glow finishers, landing in our world very soon.

We finished with two upcoming launches: a milk mist that leaves behind the craziest glass like dew and catches the light like nothing else, followed by some lip newness for deeply hydrated, juicy-looking lips with the softest natural sheen.

A day at our TCM internship hospital in China, through the eyes of our co-founder Rui 🍄‍🟫🔬

Rui is a plant scientist, so while our days here are rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she’s constantly looking at everything through the lens of plant science: phytochemistry, bioactive compounds, mechanisms of action and clinical evidence.

Between shadowing TCM doctors and observing real patients, she’s reading research on the botanical and mushroom extracts we use at Herbar, exploring potential new ingredients, meeting with the hospital pharmacy team to understand traditional herbal combinations, and reviewing clinical testing from our own formulas.

It’s one of the things at the heart of Herbar, bringing traditional knowledge and modern science into the same conversation, without diluting either one.

And somewhere between the hospital, research papers and dinner, we’re also testing new formulas and plotting what comes next.
