Hi everyone! Just a quick little update that I’m currently out of town, made a trip somewhere that wasn’t totally planned and enjoying some much needed time with the family.

Since I’ve been receiving multiple messages regarding appointment requests, I just wanted to make a quick note that my next availability will be posted on Monday, September 28th for appointments: September 30th through October 4th.

Every skin is different… and every approach should be too.

While I can candidly say that it’s been a while since I’ve done dermaplaning on a client and since it’s one of my favorite treatments to perform, I was especially excited for this skin reset.

The goal was to gently approach the skin with a calm, intentional treatment, not overly aggressive or overwhelming while supporting and protecting her skin barrier throughout the entire experience.

It’s not always about doing more. Sometimes, the best approach is knowing when to simplify, slow down and let the skin breathe.

CONSISTENCY OVER COMPLEXITY 🎀

As a skincare specialist, one of my greatest philosophies when it comes to skincare and something I often share with my clients, is that sometimes the best thing you can do for your skin is simplify your routine, protect your skin barrier and give your skin time to respond.

Honestly, you don’t always need multiple serums, exfoliating scrubs, masks, facial oils and countless other unnecessary over hyped up products unless there’s a specific reason for them.

A healthy skin doesn’t necessarily come from doing more. It often simply needs the right things to come into play: from reducing unnecessary irritation by learning a bit of information about ingredients literacy, staying consistent and being patient with the process.

Living in Germany has opened to so many new things, having the opportunity to travel through Europe, embracing their local traditions and slowly learning to adapt like a local.

Knowing that Germany is home to so many festivals throughout every season, we’re so fortunate to live close enough to experience the festivities throughout the Moselle region, an area where w**e is not only abundant but deeply woven into the german culture and one of the region’s biggest attractions.

Anyone who knows me knows my alcohol tolerance is practically nonexistent but a glass of a sweet “alkoholfeier wein” or riesling spatlese (learned it from a german “sommelier”) is something I can easily get myself into that I had to make sure that I come with two bottles just because I liked it so much.
