One of Ara’kai’s most loved events returns this November: the Porcelain × Ara’kai Perfume Workshop. An intimate evening to follow your curiosity and create a fragrance that feels entirely your own.

With guidance from Porcelain founder and perfumer Stine Hoff, you’ll explore natural perfumery through scent, memory and emotion. Notice which notes draw you in, discover unexpected combinations and bring them together in your own 10 ml bespoke perfume to take home.

You don’t need to arrive knowing what you want to create. Give yourself time to explore. Your fragrance will take shape as you do.

A glimpse Into last year’s workshop

The quiet concentration of discovering a note you love. Sharing what a scent reminds you of. A little more of one ingredient, a little less of another, until the fragrance begins to feel like yours.

Last November, we gathered around the table to explore, experiment and create with Porcelain. Each person brought their own memories, preferences and curiosity to the experience.

This November, we’re making room for ten people to do it all again. Come on your own or share the evening with someone close to you. There is something lovely about discovering how differently we each experience scent.

Meet the Perfumer guiding your creation

Stine Hoff, founder and perfumer at Porcelain, knows how deeply a fragrance can connect us to a person, a place or a moment.

Her own relationship with scent began in childhood, collecting miniature perfumes her father brought home from his travels around the world. Opening those little bottles became a way to feel close to him and imagine the places he had been.

At our workshop, Stine will guide you through the craft of natural perfumery, helping you explore the notes you’re drawn to and understand how they work together.

Tone returns to Ara’kai Practice from Lanserhof for an intimate seasonal session created to prepare you for the colder months.

The experience begins with a 60-minute guided practice combining deep stretching, breathwork and Tone’s signature hands-on Pilates. Afterward, gather around the table for seasonal nourishment from Ara’kai Pantry.

Each guest will also receive a copy of The Lanserhof Fasting Cure to take home.
