Make your own Shea Butter with us, in collaboration with .wav from 💫⭐️

We’ll explore shea butter through taste, touch, and story. From West to East Africa, we’ll uncover how landscape, culture, and tradition give shea butter its unique character, what similarities and differences exist across the regions — and how trade and perception have shaped its story over time.

Aimee Wallin will embark us into the deep roots of West African shea, while we will explore East African perspectives and uses, and make your own body butter to take home. Baobab and hibiscus juice, African teas, and snacks will be served throughout the session.

A hands-on, sensory journey celebrating the richness and diversity of shea — and the care it carries across the continent.
