Two years ago I helped create a Village out of metal and dust. There were others there too. We cried together. We bled together. We sweat and laughed together. We embraced each other and supported each other. Come rain or Shine or snow or hail - we were there for each other. And in this space I finally found a tribe where I belonged. My madness was viewed as endearing and honest and my creativity as talent. The Soap Shack may be closing her doors - but the magic I've had the honor of sharing with every single being that has entered this little universe of mine in my little corner of Reffen will forever and always be treasured in this crazy soap lady's heart. It's soon the weekend and our first week of Season 3 •Corona Edition• is almost a wrap! If you're planning on coming by this weekend, bring along your soap dispenser and I'll fill it up for your with my 100% Vegan REAL Liquid Soap (that WILL NOT dry out your hands... because it's SOAP and not gels/wash/detergents!!!)
And tomorrow (Friday) we've got live gigs starting at 5pm and DJs spinning well into the night. Our playground has gotten new "swings" since last season, so don't worry if it's raining!! We've got the coolest renovated MASSIVE indoors space in the old Machine Hall, right across from the Soap Shack! And you GOTTA check out the toilets. Trust me. 😘
