All JOIK products are developed and handmade in small batches in Estonia, at our cozy production facility on the outskirts of Tallinn. We do not outsource any of our production and contolling the whole production process from start to finish ensures high quality and freshness of our products. Estonia is a country of nature – big forests, rivers and lakes and being in touch with nature is an important part of peoples lives, folk traditions are still remembered and carried along from generation to generation. At JOIK we combine ancient skills and knowledge about how to use plants for the benefit of health and beauty with modern research, ingredients and production technologies. In our products we use only the best highest quality ingredients from respected manufacturers. Including nordic plant extracts into our products is important for us and as much as possible we use Estonian ingredients – local canola oil, sea buckthorn oil, herbs and honey are an important part of our products. We never include any ingredient only for label appeal – the concentrations of ingredients are always calculated to give the most effective benefit, every ingredient has its specific purpose. We believe that along with skincare benefits the products should also pamper the senses and everyday beauty routine should be a moment of indulgence. We pay high attention to the design and aesthetics for our products - a nice packaging and pleasant aromas are always an essential part of JOIK products proving that natural can also be luxurious.
