Redness doesn’t have to be permanent.
Many people live with facial redness and visible blood vessels for years, assuming it’s simply “their skin.” In reality, in many cases these vessels can be treated safely and effectively with the right laser protocol.
This patient had a combination of diffuse redness and multiple superficial vessels across the cheeks and around the nose. Rather than treating everything aggressively in one session, we gradually reduced the vascular network using my individual multi-step protocol over several treatments.
The goal is not just to remove visible vessels, but to restore a calmer, more even complexion while preserving the skin’s natural appearance.
No dramatic downtime. No artificial look. Just healthier-looking skin that no longer draws attention because of persistent redness.
Every vascular pattern is different, which is why there is no universal setting or single laser that works for everyone. Careful assessment, appropriate laser selection, and patience between sessions are what make long-lasting results possible.
Sometimes the biggest transformation isn’t changing the face — it’s simply revealing the skin that was hidden beneath the redness.

Periorbital veins can be small, but once you notice them, they can be surprisingly difficult to ignore.
In this case, there was not just one visible vessel, but a small network of veins under the eye. The treatment had to be precise: this is a delicate area, the vessels differ in depth and diameter, and the skin around the eyes leaves very little room for an aggressive approach.
We used an individual laser protocol and treated the vessels gradually, without surgery and without a recovery period that would interrupt the patient’s normal routine.
The change is subtle, but it makes the whole area look cleaner and less tired. This is exactly the kind of result I like: nothing artificial, nothing overdone — simply removing a detail that was drawing attention for the wrong reason.
Periorbital vessels may look similar from the outside, but they do not all behave in the same way. The choice of laser, pulse duration, energy and treatment sequence has to be adapted to the specific vascular pattern of each patient.
Small area. Very precise work. And a result that changes the overall impression of the face.

Stretch mark treatment doesn’t have to wait until autumn.
One of the biggest myths is that stretch marks can only be treated during the colder months.
Not anymore.
Today, we perform stretch mark treatment all year round using the author’s protocol developed by Dr. Alexander Uskov, allowing patients to continue enjoying summer, sports, holidays, and their usual lifestyle.
These photos show an intermediate result after just a few treatment sessions.
And that’s exactly why I wanted to share this case.
Even before completing the full treatment course, you can already appreciate the improvement in skin quality. The stretch marks become less noticeable, skin texture becomes smoother, and the treated area gradually blends more naturally with the surrounding skin.
This is not the final result. Skin remodeling continues for months after each procedure, and we will continue treatment to achieve even greater improvement.
One of the principles behind our protocol is simple: gentle treatment, minimal disruption to everyday life, and maximum respect for the skin’s natural healing processes.
A few years ago, I would never have imagined that we could treat stretch marks during the summer with such comfort for our patients.
Today, it has become part of our everyday practice.
Sometimes the most important step is simply deciding not to wait.

Why did we choose Kadrioru Plaza for our clinic?
The answer is simple: we wanted our patients to feel comfortable not only during their treatment, but also before and after it.
At Kadrioru Plaza, you can enjoy a restaurant or sushi bar while waiting for your numbing cream to take effect, explore exhibitions by contemporary artists in the lobby, or simply work at one of the comfortable seating areas if your visit takes a little longer.
A great clinic is more than just treatment rooms—it’s the entire experience. And we believe every part of that experience should be pleasant.

Can You Continue Laser Treatments During Summer?
One of the most common questions I hear every summer is:
“Should I stop my laser treatments until autumn?”
The short answer is: not necessarily.
The idea that all laser treatments are forbidden during summer is a myth.
What really matters is the type of laser procedure, the area being treated, your skin type, and—most importantly—how well you protect your skin from the sun.
Many laser procedures can be performed safely throughout the summer when the right protocols are followed. In fact, interrupting treatment for several months can unnecessarily delay your results, especially when treating scars, vascular lesions, or other conditions that benefit from consistent therapy.
However, some procedures—particularly those that create significant skin resurfacing or target recently tanned skin—may require postponement or a modified treatment plan.
The decision should never be based on the season alone. It should be based on your individual situation and a professional assessment.
So don’t automatically cancel your laser appointments just because it’s summer.
Instead, ask your doctor one simple question:
“Is this particular treatment appropriate for my skin and my summer plans?”
That’s the evidence-based approach.
Follow for more science-backed information about laser dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
The Laser Is the Least Important Part.
Many patients choose a clinic because it advertises the latest laser.
I believe that’s the wrong place to start.
When considering any aesthetic procedure, I recommend looking at three things — in exactly this order:
1. The right specialist. Someone with the education and clinical judgment to make the correct diagnosis and choose the appropriate treatment.
2. Experience. Knowing how and when to perform a procedure safely comes only with extensive hands-on practice.
3. The equipment. Yes, technology matters—but only after the first two requirements have been met.
An excellent physician can achieve outstanding results with good equipment.
The most expensive laser, in inexperienced hands, can still produce disappointing—or even harmful—outcomes.
The laser is a tool. The person using it will always matter more.
This is what I call my Treatment Selection Triad.
Sometimes a result is not just about skin.
Sometimes it is about confidence.
These stretch marks appeared after pregnancy and childbirth. Like many women, our patient had become accustomed to seeing them every day in the mirror, avoiding certain clothes, thinking twice before putting on a swimsuit, and feeling that her body no longer looked the way she wanted.
Today, I want to show you what was achieved after just 4 treatment sessions.
Four.
And no — this is not the final result. We will continue treatment, and I expect even more improvement in the months ahead.
But honestly? The changes we see already are remarkable.
Because treating stretch marks is not only about improving the appearance of the skin. It is about giving someone the confidence to wear an open swimsuit again. To stop hiding. To feel comfortable on the beach. To look in the mirror and smile.
And here is something many people don’t know.
You do not have to wait.
For years, women were told to postpone treatment for months or even years after pregnancy. Today, we have developed protocols that allow us to begin treatment much earlier, including during breastfeeding and lactation.
In fact, in many cases, the sooner we start, the better the potential outcome.
Stretch marks are not something you have to simply accept and live with forever.
As doctors, we often talk about collagen, remodeling, protocols, and technologies.
Patients talk about something different.
Freedom.
Confidence.
Self-esteem.
And moments like these remind me why I love what I do.
I am incredibly proud of this patient and grateful for the trust she placed in us.
This is exactly why we keep pushing the boundaries of what modern laser medicine can achieve.
Stretch marks changed her body. They didn’t have to define her future.
