In the case if you have thick curly hair, have you ever felt like it starts to look a bit like a christmastree, wide and wild at the bottom but heavy, against the head on the top?

No need to feel down about that, get yourself a tailored-to-you razor cut A.S.A.P ;)

We went for a natural texture s**g-cut to match the hair to the lady 😉

Some accidents result in haircuts that are on fire 🔥 but you wouldn't have normally considered them.

Dying and bleaching hair at home has been done and then some. Some stories are more successful than others however.

This beautiful client has afro hair and bleaching them at home didn't work out so well. This is due to afro hair being very fragile in its structure despite being dark in colour which is sometimes assosiated with stronger hair. Because afro hair is fine and very curly, it has high porosity and this means that heavy chemicals can do it a great deal of damage if not used in a very precise manner. My client wanted to apply a vibrant toner later on her bleached hair but it became matted, strechy, and broke off completely in some areas.

Even though some people get away with using home dyes for years without many issues, I'd still advise to think twice about doing it yourself, if the change is substantial or your hair has very specific qualities. Your stylist is there for you ;)

Nevertheless, I think this story still has a great outcome because she is rocking that short style like a boss!

Hello world 🌍

So it has been a minute and a half since i posted any of my work.

It has been a very busy summer on a personal level for me and a lot has happened. To name a few, i got married👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏼‍♂️ and went on a long and beautiful honeymoon 🍯🌝 with the Mr. to take some time for ourselves.
So some things have changed but my love for my work has remained.
I am now fully back on the wavelength of doing hair and excited as to what is to come in terms of workshops and day to day salon life.

Sometimes a guy spends a year growing out his hair, so he can have it cut into a mullet mane. All done, so he can get into his country livin' vibe for the summer solstice and enjoy it in a true redneck fashion seasoned with his Estonian heritage.
