🫁 In the first part of the Nodular Pattern module, we discussed two major nodular distributions in diffuse lung disease:

✔ Perilymphatic nodules
✔ Random nodules

The discussion included:
• Sarcoidosis and its mimics
• Drug-induced sarcoid-like reaction
• Simple silicosis and other pneumoconioses
• End-stage sarcoidosis
• Complicated silicosis
• Practical distinction between perilymphatic and miliary patterns

However, in daily practice, the most challenging nodules are often the centrilobular nodules.

The upcoming session will focus on a practical diagnostic approach to:

🔹 Centrilobular ground-glass nodules
🔹 Centrilobular soft-tissue nodules
🔹 Tree-in-bud pattern

Rather than memorizing differential diagnosis lists, the emphasis will be on pattern analysis, practical reasoning, and identifying the key imaging clues that narrow the diagnosis.

The attached 7-minute video is taken from the conclusion of the previous session and provides an introduction to the topics that will be covered next.
