Sometimes people want a wee trim and their regular root colour maintained.....and sometimes people want to change their hair completely! 😲

Kia has had enough of being blonde and was ready to embrace a healthy, shiny dark chocolate colour....BUT....not quite ready to commit to it all over! 👎
The compromise was a carefully placed halo of icy blonde to keep the brightness around her face, with slithers of dark falling through the fringe so it didnt look like she was wearing a blonde headband 😜

To say i love this hair would be an understatement!! ❤️

Oh and thank you Kia for standing in a small hurricane in the street so i could take these pictures because i forgot to take the 'after' shots while you were in the salon.🤦‍♀️

Look, I'm currently growing my hair and I understand the fear of cutting it even a TEENY TINY bit....BUT, look at these before and after photos! Look at the MASSIVE difference dead-ending the hair can do 😲

Do not be afraid of taking of the wispy damaged ends of your hair. It will look thicker, healthier and bizarrely, sometimes, it will even look longer! (Its an optical illusion, I'm not a witch I promise 😂)

Hair cannot grow if the ends are split/broken/damaged so please include regular TINY trims into your hair growing experience. You will be rapunzel in no time!! 😂💇‍♀️

The lovely Doctor Maria Ceballos (bottom floor of the centre) came to see me for the first time recently 😍

The brief was very simple, freshen up the colour and give it all a good chop! ✂️✂️

Sometimes matching another stylists colour can be difficult. You have to take into account how much the colour has faded since it was first done, the formula you need for the roots compared to the formula for the already coloured hair. The porosity of the hair and of course the after care, ESPECIALLY for reds and coppers! 👩‍🦰

As you can see from the photos, this colour match was extremely successful. It is extremely similar to her exisiting hair, but the tone looks richer, has more depth and looks SO glossy 💎

An ALMIGHTY trim and a curly blow dry later, Dr Ceballos looked absolutely fabulous! 👏

I would like to thank her for trusting me with her hair and hope she found my aftercare advice (to keep her red vibrant and last longer) very useful. 😍

Whit woooooo! 😍

Tina came to see me and wanted to step out of her comfort zone by adding layers!
Her hair is normally worn very straight and she was excited about having more movement and texture, and wearing the hair in a more 'flicked' out way. 👍

Before cutting, we refreshed Tina's root colour and popped a few hilights in as she was feeling that her regrowth was looking very dark 🌚

Cut wise, we added a fringe (love it!!!)
face framing layers and then balanced those with layering throughout the rest of the hair. For the blow dry I just used big round brush and dried the hair up at the ends and with a little movement at the back. Definitely a massive difference from her normally straight hair! 😍

Since this appt, Tina has returned as she was struggling to get the flicked look at home. We went though a few tips on using the straighteners to achieve this (as it is often easier than using a brush on ourselves) and also the importance of using heat protector religiously if using the straighteners often.

Jill is a new client who came to see me whilst on holiday here 🌞

She had A LOT of hair and was ready to go shorter AND introduce more brown lowlights back into her colour ( this is one of my favourite things to do colour wise so I was extremely pleased 😁)

As you can see from the pictures, adding those darker tones between the blonde highlights allows the hair to have more dimension, and, more importantly for Jill, lets the hair regrowth look more natural, therefore looking better for longer 😍

Cut wise I wasn't expecting her to want so much off! The only important factor she asked me to take into consideration was that her hair needed to go in a low ponytail for when she did sports. Now that her hair isn't so long and wont take so long to dry and style, Jill is confident that she won't keep tying it up in a ponytail unless she needs to ✂️

Lovely Tracey is one of the people who travel down to see me from Formentera Del Segura and I appreciate it so much! 😍

We always do the same service, which is a good trim, an ALMIGHTY thinning and a random scattering of blonde and sometimes a chocolate colour, depending on how Tracey feels ☺️

On this occassion, for the colour service, we added blonde ONLY to give the hair a 'lift'. We never follow the same pattern when applying her highlights and Tracey finds this works well for her and grows out super soft and natural. Tracey owns a bar and isn't always able to maintain the colour as often as necessary because she is busy busy busy! So this placement allows the hair to look fabulous even when it's more 'lived in' 😍

I'm so glad Tracey, that for once, you were actually going out after your appointment and got to show off your barnet 👀
It makes a change from running round the bar with it scraped up in a ponytail and

Everyone meet Laura! (What a great name😂) She has recently opened a Tanning shop downstairs and is a lovely addition to the Sophia Wellness Centre family 😍

As you can see, Laura has naturally wavy hair with grown out and faded colour throughout that was reflecting a lot of warmth ☀️👩‍🦰

This was only a small trim and blow dry appointment, BUT, as we had time, I did a chocolate colour gloss service at the basin.
This costs 10€ and takes 10 minutes! It isn't permanent and it adds great shine and colour to the hair! I mean look at the difference! 😲

Colour glossing is currently available in blonde, chocolate, blue black, copper, red and violet so feel free to add it to your service for a quick and easy pick me up for your hair! 👍

Laura's hair is now free of dead ends, super chocolatey, rich and shiny 🌟 and of course beautifully dried by the fabulous Dyson air wrap 😍
