When properly applied, eyelash extensions will remain in place until the natural lash on which it is applied to falls out. (Our natural EyeLashes do naturally shed.) This can be as long as two months or more. However I do recommend a fill every 3weeks because by then half of the extensions that are applied to the natural Lashes have shed with the natural Lashes.

• Natural eyelashes grow and fall out in cycles (every 60 to 90 days). When a natural lash matures and falls out, a new lash has already been growing and quickly replaces it without us noticing the turnover. This process is constant and at any given moment our many natural lashes are at different stages of maturity. Some are just growing in while others are ready to shed. People typically shed between 1 and 5 natural lashes each day depending on their individual growth cycles.


• With proper care and maintenance, Refills are typically only needed once every 3 to 5 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed. Your EyeLash Stylist will add extensions to the newest mature natural lashes to maintain a full, lush appearance
When professionally and properly applied, you cannot feel any difference after having your lashes enhanced with Extensions. Shower and swim worry free, and throw away your mascara forever! How do i know they will be professional applied? With so many spas, salons, and independent lash stylists, it can be hard to know how to choose the BEST place to go to get your eyelash extensions applied. Not all lash stylists are created equal, and while lash styling and design are very subjective, some questions make it easy to quickly figure out if you will be getting a beautiful set, or not. Even trained individuals can produce sub-par work for a number of reasons, so let's dig deeper before you make an appointment and make sure you are getting a skilled Eyelash Extension Professional.

• Ask to see the lash stylists' actual portfolio. You want to see a nice, clean, straight and separated lash for lash application. You should not see any clumps or lumps. You should not see any “spidery” or “twisty” or “mangled” lashes.
• Your lash stylists should be able to answer all your questions and be current with new techniques and products.
• Cleanliness checklist:
o Is the working area clean? o Are disposable items used only for one client? o How are reusable tools disinfected or sterilized? o Is the lash stylists presentable? Hands washed, etc
• How long has the therapist been doing lashes? Time does not always indicate skill level, but this is a procedure that does take most lash stylists a while to master.
• Does the therapist have any advanced training in the application of eyelash extensions?
• What diameters and lengths of extensions does the therapist typically work with? Preferably the therapist will apply lashes that your natural lash can handle but generally , no more than a 0.15mm or 0.20mm diameter and 2mm longer than the natural lash for the average client.
• Price and length of appointment is not always indicative of a good or bad job, but not everyone's “full set” will be the same. You just want to ask the questions that will allow you to know what you are actually getting so you can make the best decision. Armed with these answers, you should have a fairly good idea of who you are going to. Once you find someone you love and trust with your lashes, hold on to them and never let them go! Before your Appointment
Do not worry about removing your eye makeup as we will professionally remove your eye makeup and skin oils prior to applying your extensions. If you are a contact lens wearer, please remove contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment, or bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive at your appointment. Plan to set aside 1 to 2 hours for your appointment. Most clients fall asleep during the procedure. They are always amazed when they wake up with gorgeous looking lashes

After Care
Following these important after-care instructions will aid in extending the life of your lash extensions. The first 48 hours following your application are most crucial. Care must be taken not to rub your eyes, pull your lashes, or scratch. Also, any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, or cleansers containing oils can loosen the bond of the lash extensions. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area. In the shower, you should avoid direct water spray on your extensions after your lash extension application. For 24 hours after application, do not allow water to contact lashes, use a steam bath, swim, or wash your face with hot water.
1. Do not perm or tint lashes before or after lash extension application.
2. Do not use an eyelash curler. It may break both the lash extension and your natural lashes. Eyelash Extensions come in several different curls. Make sure your technician is aware of the look you are going for prior to application of the extensions.
3. Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face. Clean around the Eyes with a wash cloth.
4. Do not pull your lash extensions, as it will take out your own lash as well. What are Eyelash Extensions made of? Synthetic lashes respond better to wear and tear than other materials. In addition, synthetics have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin. Testing has shown that there are higher percentages of people who will have adverse reactions to contact with lash extensions created from animal hairs such as mink

As long as you keep up with the touch up applications, it is almost impossible to tell that you are wearing the extensions. You will not notice the addition of the extensions to your lashes and they will not cause your natural lashes to fall out ahead of their natural cycle as other enhancement methods can.
