I have suffered and injury on Sunday, and now I'm recovering from dislocated knee. What does it mean for the appointments? Any appointments that require sitting down are perfect and I can turn some standing apps into sitting down (facials, etc) however treatments such as massages I cannot perform at the moment as I cannot stand for too long.

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?

Lash Lift is a fantastic alternative to lash extensions, curling and lifting your own lashes for a no mascara look.

All you need to do is lie back and relax as your lash artist applies silicon pads to protect the skin of your eyelids and then applies a solution and tint on your lashes to make them reach sky-high.

The principle is similar to that of a perm for your eyelashes, training them to curl upwards instead of sitting straight.

On average, a good lash lift should last you anywhere between six to eight weeks. Having said that, it's also important to note that its longevity depends on the amount of care you take in preserving them and ensuring you maximise the time.

Try to avoid using any oil-based makeup when you've had a lash lift, because the oil can disrupt the solution and make it harder to stick. At the same time, using waterproof mascara can be an issue because it often needs to be removed with oil-based makeup remover.

After you've just had them done, you'll need to avoid wetting your lashes for about 24 to 48 hours. We all remember the court room scene in Legally Blonde where Elle explains "cardinal rule of perm maintenance". Water will disrupt the perming solution on your lashes and you can say goodbye to your curl. So keep them dry for a day or so until they set.
