WELCOME TO CLASS.
Class 01: Why your Brow Extensions aren’t lasting.
Poor retention doesn’t always mean you need a different adhesive. Small details during preparation, application, your working environment and aftercare can make a big difference.
For better retention:
• Start with completely clean brows. Use our Brow Shampoo to remove makeup, skincare, sebum and residue. Rinse thoroughly and make sure the brows are completely dry.
• Prep with Primer to remove remaining oils and prepare the surface before application.
• Use the right amount of adhesive. Too much can create buildup and clumping, while too little won’t create enough contact. Aim for a thin, smooth layer without bumps or bubbles.
• Watch your room temperature and humidity. Both can affect how your adhesive behaves and how quickly it cures. Always work within the recommended range for the adhesive you’re using.
• Follow the natural growth direction. When attaching an extension to a natural brow hair, place it in the same direction as that hair.
• Don’t forget aftercare. What happens after the appointment matters too, so make sure your client knows how to care for their Brow Extensions at home.
Good retention starts with the details.
