Sun-kissed petals, gathered by hand.

Golden helichrysum, calming Tulsi, and wild blooms that resemble arnica, picked today, this quiet Sunday in spring, just behind my home. Everything still warm from the sun, alive in that fleeting moment before it changes again.

This is where Botanical Soulmates really begins for me💚Not in distance or perfection, but right here, kneeling in the field, hands smelling of earth and herbs, noticing what nature is offering right now.

I love working this way. Following the rythem and not forcing anything. Today I harvested during the waxing moon, just after the new moon; a phase where everything feels like it’s gently building energy again.

No rush, no gloss, no noise. Just plants at their peak, gathered with care, to be slowly transformed into something new.

And somehow, that will always feel more powerful to me than anything made far away from the place it comes from.

Perilla frutescens(Shiso) is a leaf of a Japanese plant I just discovered and I am addicted!

It is used a lot in Asian food for its delicious aromatic taste;
a mix of basilica, mint, anise and and citrics...
which makes it, besides of the great icy fresh taste and its health benefits (like anti-Inflammatory properties, rich in antioxidants, vit A, C and omega-3+ it prevents allergic reactions)
also a valuable leaf in the world of FRAGRANCE, because of its beautiful incredibly complex scent profile.

Today, something a little different from COSMETIC formulations and extracts…

I’m diving deeper into the world of Ethnobotany; the relationship between humans and nature and more. Not only for the skin, but also for our plate!

At this moment, I’m working with wild edible plants and flowers growing on our beautiful island, gently wrapping them in a rice flour roll. Later, they become a soft, slightly crispy bite, paired with a simple sauce… pure, alive, and full of character😋

As a botanical cosmetic formulator and phytotherapist, I’m used to studying plants for their active properties. But now, I’m rediscovering them through taste, texture, and tradition.
Plants are not just ingredients.
They are stories. They are connection💚

Hoy estoy haciendo algo un poco diferente a formulaciones cosméticos y extractos…

Estoy profundizando en el mundo de la Etnobotánica; la relación entre el ser humano y la naturaleza( y más)No solo para la piel, sino también para nuestro plato!

En este momento trabajo con plantas y flores silvestres comestibles, envolviéndolas suavemente en una masa de harina de arroz. Más tarde se transforman en un bocado suave y ligeramente crujiente, acompañado de una salsa sencilla… puro, vivo y lleno de carácter.

Como formuladora de cosmética botánica y fitoterapeuta, estoy acostumbrada a estudiar las plantas por sus propiedades. Pero ahora las redescubro también a través del sabor, la textura y la tradición.

Las plantas no son solo ingredientes.
Son historias. Son conexion💚

In this intimate one-day workshop, we’ll combine the grounding magic of the forest with the joyful creativity of natural skincare. It’s a day to reconnect, create, and nourish yourself, from root to glow.

🌿 Morning: Forest & Plants (10:00 – 11:30)

We begin among the trees. With a calming plant meditation and a gentle forest walk, you’ll gather the wild herbs and flowers that will become part of your own skincare ritual. Yes, we’re literally bringing the forest into your cream.

🧪 Midday: The Lab (12:00 – 14:30)

Back in the lab (no white coats needed😉), we will guide you through making natural extracts and show you how to formulate a product that fits your skin’s unique needs. You’ll learn, create, and laugh a little along the way.

🥗 Lunch & Connection (14:30 – 15:30)

We close with a beautiful local lunch, shared in good company. Eat, rest, and reflect, no rush.
