Where are those bribed youths who were advocating for the so-called perpetrator Denay Jock Chagor? Is he still the only one who claims to love the Nuer/Lou Nuer community? I will not discuss the insignificant politicians like Pur Gok and Mahjub Biel, who have never been part of any community before. But sycophants misled people on social media about the betrayer Denay with his deceptive lies about the Lou Nuer and the Nuer. Yesterday, I saw his name among all the proclaimed Nuer officials in Juba denying the ethnic targeting war. In their letter to the international community, they said the Nuer were not targeted by the Juba government and demanded that the international community dismiss accusations against the regime of Gen. Salva Kiir! Are these politicians still representing the Nuer community or are they Dinka members pretending to be Nuer officials?

It is known worldwide that the only targeted tribe in South Sudan, where millions are in refugee camps, IDPs, and homeless across Nuer land due to this ethnic targeting war. If the very sons and daughters of the targeted tribe deny their deaths, then who are the fools responsible for accepting accountability for the tragedy caused by the government and its militias? Our community is cursed with Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, Par Kuol Wang, Kun Puoch Marweang, and Denay Jock Chagor. If innocent lives were killed by the government because of their ethnicity, those in the graves will call these vultures. If death is a shame, then the dead will condemn these vultures! I condemn the so-called Nuer officials, represented by cartels appointed by the same murderer, in strong terms. They do not represent any community. These vultures benefit from betraying the Nuer tribe! The Juba government continues to wage a divisive war in Nuer areas to exploit the suffering of the Nuer. Any leader who is blind to this must be disowned and publicly denounced as a bloodsucker!

Let the Lou Nuer from East, North, South, and West remain vigilant: the Murle armed youths have been manipulated by the regime in Juba and the governor of Jonglei State to launch coordinated attacks on the Lou Nuer land. Today, they have moved north of the Murle border toward Lou Nuer territory with the intention of striking us.

This is not an isolated incident, it is a calculated offensive by the SSPDF, the Murle, and their Nuerwew allies, aimed at recapturing Akobo town and committing atrocities against innocent civilians across the Lou Nuer areas. We must prepare ourselves for the worst and stand united against oppression.

Subject: Public Response to Political Bullying Against the Lou Nuer Community!

Honorable Minister, Amb. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth,

The Lou Nuer community is deeply disheartened by the reckless and divisive conduct of Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, who has turned our people into a political hunting ground. His actions go far beyond the norms of politics, descending into bullying and hatred aimed at silencing and weakening our community.

It is unacceptable for any leader to exploit national institutions such as the SSPDF and SPLA-IO, forces supported by all 64 tribes, for personal grudges. Instead of advocating for unity, Mr. Gatkuoth has sought to brand refugees as criminals, pushing for their displacement from Ethiopia, where they fled for safety. This is not leadership; it is persecution.

The government of South Sudan must remain a government for all, not a wheelbarrow for one man’s ambitions. If the Lou Nuer community is treated as disposable, excluded from representation, and scapegoated for political gain, then the integrity of our nation itself is at risk.

We remind you that in Greater Nasir, countless clashes have occurred between SSPDF and SPLA-IO, including in Mr. Gatkuoth’s own hometowns of Maiwut and Longecuk. Yet he remained silent there, while loudly advocating for the destruction of the Lou Nuer areas. This hypocrisy exposes his agenda: not peace, but division.

We call upon your office to publicly stop this campaign of hatred. Let the government stand as a pillar of justice and unity, not as a tool of oppression against one community. The Lou Nuer people deserve dignity, representation, and protection, not vilification.

The U.S. Embassy wishes to clarify the U.S. position on elections in South Sudan. We would view successful and peaceful elections as a positive step in support of peace and accountability.

If the transitional government truly means to hold elections, we urge that it first create conditions to ensure that the elections are both peaceful and advance the objective of sustainable peace. This requires an immediate return to dialogue among the parties to the 2018 peace agreement. Genuine dialogue cannot happen when key leaders are imprisoned, including when the head of the second largest party to the agreement is under arrest and on trial.

We expect the transitional government to fund elections with its own public resources, just as we expect it to start funding public services and government salaries. We will base future decisions on U.S. support for elections, including through the United Nations, on whether the transitional government demonstrates that it will fund the process.

We do not seek to impose a political or ideological model on South Sudan. We do seek peace, appropriate use of public revenue, and an end to assistance abuse. These priorities shape our position on elections. The people of South Sudan have waited long enough for peace. We renew our call on South Sudan’s transitional government to honor its commitments and deliver for its people".

If President Kiir appointed Joseph Nguen Manytuil, former Governor of Western Upper Nile (Unity State), to address the ongoing instability along the common border between Bhar El Ghazal and Western Upper Nile, then such an appointment is misguided. For over thirteen years, Joseph Nguen Manyuil's administration has failed to uphold peace and security along the borders between Western Upper Nile and the Bahr el Ghazal region, as well as within Western Upper Nile communities.

The persistent cattle raiding and intercommunal violence across these borders stem from the absence of competent governors and commissioners capable of maintaining law and order. The appointment of Hussein Abdelbagi as Vice President further signals that the NCP, under Tut Gatluak, may exploit the killings in Abiemnom to reassert influence in Western Upper Nile.

By this appointment, President Kiir has effectively endangered the communities of Western Upper Nile and the Dinka communities along the Bahr el Ghazal border with Western Upper Nile, exposing them to continued cycles of violence. This decision does not constitute a solution to the crisis, as President Kiir keeps saying he is seeking a solution.
It is like President Kir has issued a Black Death Warrant to the people of Western Upper Nile and the Dinka communities living along the common borders. They will kill themselves like fish.
