Eddie Hair and therapy "After graduation I was over the moon! I was ready for the business and couldn't wait to get started. You never get bored in my profession.
It took me a while to build up my clientele but it was all worth it. A couple of years later I looked at my appointment book and found myself fully booked! I have worked in various salons over the years and made a lot of friends. Some of my customers have been coming to me for over ten years and many are more like old friends than customers. My profession is so flexible that I never had to give it
up; on the contrary it has provide me with many great adventures. I have had the opportunity to work in Switzerland, Spain and Portugal among many other countries. Hairdressing is the perfect job for me! My customers are so loyal that they don't want anybody else to do their hair! From time to time, I fly back to Brazil and have a nice time with my loyal old clients. Doing hair is more like a hobby than a job to me. I love talking to people and listening to there amazing stories. Working is like a social event some times. People confide in me, tell me all the latest gossips and the salon is always busy! As a hairdresser you have to study continuously because there are always new fashions and products coming out and new coloring and cutting techniques to learn. I don't think I could ever give it up. I love the fact that there is never a dull day because everyday is different. I meet new people all the time and I gain good friends for life! The best part is that I learn all the time, some hairdressing related and some completely different. I LOVE my occupation and I always will!"
