Are people going to like it? Is this something people want to see? Is this good enough?
I believe every creative person has these thoughts going through their minds every now and then.
Creatives have so many great ideas in their head and their imagination is mind blowing but self doubt or someone’s opinion effects the outcome. It’s easier to dim your creativity and be liked than be authentic and take the chance that your art won’t be liked by everyone.
There are so many designs, songs, paintings, drawings and insanely inspiring art pieces that never saw the daylight because of self doubt.
This photo series is created as a reminder for all the people working in creative industries.
The world is more colorful and beautiful place because of art!

I created this look for WBF world awards Creative Makeup category back in 2019. That was the first time I got placed in Creative Makeup category and I won the second place!!!🤩 I was so so so excited! I probably celebrated my second place more than the winner of the contest lol.

I loved the look though! I had the idea in my head for years! Finally I had a reason to create it when needed look book photos of his collection. I told him this is something we could do and he got excited about it! I was so excited to finally cover a model with glitter!

I would like to remind you that you are your own biggest critic. Don’t be so hard on yourself 🤍
Everyone who works in the creative industry are doubting their work 99% of the time, telling themselves “I could have done better. This is nothing special. This is boring, average, ringarde”. You are doubting yourself and thinking that nobody will like it.
There is so many designs, art pieces, songs, books etc that nobody never saw or heard because it was never published or never posted on social media because YOU doubted yourself.
I have noticed that most of the time my least favorite works are the most liked by the audience. And sometimes my favorite works are the least liked by others.
This proves that your art pieces will always impress someone. Someone will find it inspiring, motivational, relatable or find comfort from your art. There is no right or wrong way to do art. It’s all about expressing yourself and having fun!
Stop doubting yourself. Only you can create art the way you do it with the creativity and imagination you have.
Nobody is you and that’s your superpower!🤍
