WiseNetwork at Vanajanlinna Golf Invitational 🏌️

Santeri Kyrövaara and Jose Laaksonen represented WiseNetwork at the Vanajanlinna Golf Invitational, playing alongside multiple-time Finnish ice hockey champion Kristian Kuusela (Tappara official) and Secretary General Tomi-Pekka Kolu (Lahti Ski Games / Salpausselän kisat).

Vanajanlinna Golf was in superb shape. The course had just hosted the European Amateur Championship, so the greens were lightning fast and the pin positions tricky.

The best lesson came from Finland's most successful golfer Mikko Ilonen, who opened the day with a line worth keeping: everyday work wins the game, not a single peak day. It holds true in sport and in software alike.

WiseNetwork x Vanajanlinna Golf Invitational 🏌️

Santeri Kyrövaara ja Jose Laaksonen edustivat WiseNetworkia Vanajanlinna Golf Invitational -tapahtumassa. Heidän peliryhmässään pelasivat myös jääkiekon moninkertainen Suomen mestari Kristian Kuusela (Tappara official) ja toimitusjohtaja Tomi-Pekka Kolu (Lahti Ski Games / Salpausselän kisat).

Vanajanlinna Golfin puitteet olivat huippuluokkaa. Kentällä oli juuri pelattu European Amateur Championship -kisa, joten griinit olivat liukkaat ja lipunpaikat vaativat.

Päivän paras oppi tuli Suomen menestyneimmältä golfaajalta, Mikko Iloselta, joka totesi alkupuheessaan: “Pelin voittaa arki, ei yksittäinen huippupäivä.” Sama pätee niin urheilussa kuin ohjelmistokehityksessä.

Three new interns have joined the WiseNetwork team: Johanna Lindqvist, Karoliina Jokinen, and Kasper Tengvall.

Johanna and Karoliina have joined our finance team as finance administration interns. Building on their business studies and previous experience, they are gaining hands-on insight into financial administration together with our team.

Kasper, an information technology student at Arcada, joins us as a software developer intern. At WiseNetwork, he works with both frontend and backend development, gaining practical experience across different areas of software development.

All three have brought fresh energy and curiosity to the team. We’re excited to support their growth at WiseNetwork.

✨ Uusia harjoittelijoita Wise-tiimiin!

WiseNetworkin tiimissä on aloittanut kolme uutta harjoittelijaa: Johanna Lindqvist, Karoliina Jokinen ja Kasper Tengvall.

Johanna ja Karoliina ovat aloittaneet taloustiimissämme taloushallinnon harjoittelijoina. Liiketalouden opintojen sekä aiemman kokemuksen pohjalta he ovat päässeet kartuttamaan käytännön osaamistaan taloushallinnon tehtävissä yhdessä tiimimme kanssa.

Arcadassa tietotekniikkaa opiskeleva Kasper on aloittanut WiseNetworkilla ohjelmistokehittäjäharjoittelijana. Hän on päässyt työskentelemään sekä frontend- että backend-kehityksen parissa ja saa käytännön kokemusta ohjelmistokehityksen eri osa-alueilta.

Kaikki kolme ovat tuoneet tiimiimme uutta energiaa ja uteliaisuutta. Olemme innoissamme saadessamme tukea heidän kasvuaan WiseNetworkilla.

🤝 Customer Encounters in Stockholm – Beyond Sweat

WiseNetwork's Max Mäki and Outi Seppä recently visited Beyond Sweat, a brand-new recovery facility and wellness gym opening in central Stockholm. They were welcomed by Per Althini, CEO & Founder, and Lina Bäcke, Marketing Manager.

Beyond Sweat is building an industry-leading wellness concept that brings together training, recovery, and long-term health under one roof. The concept is designed to go beyond the traditional gym experience by combining fitness, recovery, and wellbeing services.

During the visit, Max and Outi worked closely with the Beyond Sweat team on the final system setup to help ensure a smooth opening. A key focus was testing access control, member journeys, and recovery bookings to make sure everything works seamlessly from day one.

At WiseNetwork, we’re excited to be part of Beyond Sweat’s journey from the very beginning. Through WisePlatform Gym, we’re building the operational foundation for a modern wellness and recovery business together.

Green Card Course at Kalafornia ⛳

To balance the workday, WiseNetwork’s Työväen Urheilijat (WTU) organizes a variety of physical activities for our employees.

On Monday, WTU organized a Green Card course for WiseNetwork’s golf beginners. The day included putting practice, bunker exercises, swings at the driving range, and a round on the par 3 course.

WiseNetwork has always had an active golf community, and it is now growing even stronger with new golfers joining in.

A big thank you to Porin Golfkerho, PGK and Aleksi Sävelä for a wonderful day on the course!

Green Card -kurssi Kalaforniassa ⛳

Tasapainottaakseen työarkea WiseNetworkin Työväen Urheilijat (WTU) järjestää työntekijöille monipuolisesti erilaisia liikunta-aktiviteetteja.

Maanantaina WTU järjesti Green Card -kurssin WiseNetworkin aloitteleville golfaajille. Päivän ohjelmaan kuului puttiharjoituksia, bunkkerilyöntejä, lyöntejä rangella sekä kierros par 3 -kentällä.

WiseNetworkin sisällä on aina ollut aktiivinen golfyhteisö, joka laajenee nyt entisestään uusilla golf-tulokkailla.
