❤️‍🩹 You cannot carry yesterday’s disappointments into tomorrow’s opportunities. Look at the boulder of hatred, failure, grudges, and doubts you're pushing uphill. It’s time to let it go.

👣 Drop the weight, forgive yourself and others, and walk into tomorrow with open hands. The future has too much good in store for you to be weighed down by the past.

TVET CAREER EXPO 2026

DAY 1

🌸 Empowering Women Through Skills, Confidence and Opportunity 🌸

What an incredible week it has been!

I had the privilege of delivering a Beauty Therapy Training Programme in Nadi, where an inspiring group of women successfully completed training in massage and manicure skills.

Participants not only developed practical beauty therapy skills but also took part in sessions focused on self-care, confidence building, personal leadership, wellbeing and financial empowerment. It was wonderful to see their skills, confidence and determination grow each day.

Congratulations to all the participants on completing the programme and receiving their certificates. Your commitment, enthusiasm and willingness to learn made the experience truly rewarding.

A special thank you to Priya Singh for developing this initiative and securing support through the Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) Leadership Fund, making this programme possible. Thank you also to Connie Frances for her support throughout the programme, the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection (MWCSP) for their invaluable assistance in participant referrals and ongoing support, and to everyone who contributed to the success of this training.

As trainers, nothing is more rewarding than seeing women gain new skills and leave feeling empowered to pursue employment opportunities, provide services within their communities or begin their own small businesses.

Wishing all participants every success as they continue their journey. We look forward to staying connected and supporting you in putting your new skills into practice.
