For patients needing multiple bags — such as during dehydration treatment or surgery — exposure could reach 25,000 to 50,000+ particles.

📌 Most of these particles are made of polypropylene, the same plastic used to manufacture the bags.

Storage conditions (like heat or UV light) may worsen the problem, causing more shedding.
