Think contrast 🤍🩷
Contrast is what gives a look visual impact. It helps create hierarchy, makes certain elements stand out, and gives the overall design more presence.
In this look, I’m using one of my favorite types of contrast: saturation contrast.
It’s the difference between a soft base and more vibrant colors. That contrast is what helps the colors pop and creates a strong focal point.
And of course, this is just one example. There are many different types of contrast you can use to build bold, artistic and visually stronger makeup looks.
That’s exactly the kind of thing I teach inside Artistic Makeup Foundations, alongside technique, structure, composition, color and the creative process behind building artistic looks with intention.
