The day before creating this look, I experienced one of the most difficult moments of my career. It was the kind of moment that leaves you questioning everything you’ve built…and whether you should keep going at all.

I felt disappointed. Broken.
For the first time, I truly wondered if my dream of creating and growing a team of artists was something I should quietly let go of.

But the next morning, I showed up anyway.
I stepped into my work and created this moment.

Not only did it become some of my favorite work — work that still feels relevant years later — but it also led me to meet the incredibly talented photographer , who would become a wedding industry friend. Our shoot was later published in print, which made the moment even more meaningful.

Sometimes strength doesn’t look like confidence or certainty.
Sometimes it looks like vulnerability…and choosing to show up anyway.

Today, on International Women’s Day, I celebrate the women who are quietly fighting their own battles — yet still choose to show up for themselves.
